OK, it's flashing a UEFI update. I used the last one on ASrocks b450M page.

 

So looking at this compatibility chart I don't see the 5800X3D, do you?
I see the last Ryzen7 5700X3D, but not the 5800X3D

If it was me Ide press Y to reset that

 

Pretty sure I saw that thread. I hit Y on that screen, it rebooted and gave me the initial GPU start up, and now it's just a black screen with all my fans running.

 

Do you have ALL the new components installed now?

PS and CPU. It's not even letting me into the bios screen now.

 

Try reseting the bios/clearing CMOS and reboot again

 

Plugged hdmi into mobo and it doesn't even register a signal. Just gray screen.

 

OK, so it sounds like its using your new graphics card then, thats good

 

I'm still on the old one.

 

Just a side note, and this has been with INTEL, but Ive always did a complete fresh OS install when upgrading CPU.

Well when shit gets sideways like this I always just put it back the way it was, and work piece by new piece and see what fails

 

Go back to basics. CMOS reset and fire it up with minimal hardware. Keep external components disconnected until you get consistent booting.

 

I would also make sure the fan on that big ass heatsink is spinning, because shutting down is sometimes a sign that shits gettin hot.

 

N shit heats up quick without cooling fans. Lol.

 

This is why I’m considering having Microcenter or a business online build and burn in my PC before I get it.

 

Put new gpu with old cpu. Gray screen. I'm fucking done with this. "PC master race" my fucking ass. This is the stupidest thing I've ever dealt with. I'm just gonna get on my Xbox that I know works everytime.

Who’s the motherboard maker? They may have phone or email support. Might want to write up what you tried and send it to them.

 

Put in the old cpu and gpu. Went into bios and loaded the latest non beta flash the asrock has. I'll fuck with it more tomorrow.
