What mpg are you getting in the city?

I haven't really checked as I do mostly towing with the truck. I am pulling a small trailer ~2500 lbs around to few job sites. Then when camping we are pulling the Airstream. I have 5,600 kms on the truck or about 3500 miles so not too much history.

One thing I noticed the other day, I took the truck to get some concrete pavers (1,600 lbs worth) in the little trailer. I started off with an estimated range of 314 kms. The round trip was about 10 kms. Now my guessometer is telling me that I have 140kms left?

Did I use a third of a tank going 10 kms?

I certainly wasn't driving like I stole it! Those little red warnings represent all the travels I put on the truck.

If I took this as accurate I would be getting about 6 miles / 10 gallons. Maybe my fuel line has failed :)

Ok, what does your truck show as mpg on display? I find it to be very accurate

I will have to check that next time I fire the beast up. I think the combined average is (since I got the truck) ~20L/100kms which puts me at 11.7 mpg.

Seems about right with the effects of the trailer and city driving.

I did notice it drop to about 12L/100 kms on a recent highway trip which would put me just under 20 mpg. Not too bad and that is with the larger heavy tires and a bit more for the tire circumference increase which is about 4%.

    This weighs about 4 lbs.

You should be able to carry something like this in your grocery getter! You might have to leave the golf clubs at home :)
