Yeah, I’m really lucky. It was one of those “oh my goodness this could’ve gone so much worse” moments.

Although I would’ve preferred for it to have happen somewhere besides the middle of the busiest intersection in the county…

Damn, why you flippin' us off G?

It goes at the orange box, plugs in like a RAM stick, at the thick end of this rectangle. See this arrow? Is that the lock screw I see intact?

Also, what is your mobo model#? I'll check compatibility on the box of M.2 disks I have a box of.

My new home office upgrade. A used Steelcase Criterion highback chair for $250. Finally some proper lumbar support. The run down Staples chair was falling apart after 2 years of the 7 years I’ve had it.

Dunno why your GPU is wet.

I see the board supports M.2 disks at the slot, but it looks like the riser (see arrow) is missing its screw - probably in your original mobo box.

    Imma keep it stock
I would first unscrew it. There are 5 of them. 1 behind each turn dial for the hvac and 2 at the top of the vents. Pull the turn dials straight out to access the screw and flip the vents up to access those screws. Then gently but firmly pull the whole cover out. See if there is anything going on back there. If all is well, snap the cover back in and resecure.

Did you ever spill any liquid on the top of the case, there is a fan/hole right above it.
Otherwise check the fans/heatsink on that card and make sure the fans are working, and it isn't caked full of dust.

Ohhhh, so it's probably on the other side. That's dumb. As for that screw, this is a pre-built. Probably never had one.

No, it's never had anything set on it. I clean my filter pretty often since it sits on the floor. Both fans looked pretty clean. I'll dig in more tomorrow when I replace the parts.

Yeah, make sure they are turning though.
Follow that Sata line I mentioned (the one Shifty pointed out) you will find your ssd (behind the back case cover).

In the words of the immortal Dr. Dre, "The motherfkn saga continues..."

Got my refund from Toyota Parts overstock. However, the way they did things ... they refunded one CV axle they couldn't ship. Then refunded the one CV axle that shipped damaged. They never refunded the shipping, so I'm out $23.53 for a damaged CV axle.

Pinged Elmhurst Toyota about the CV I'd ordered from them, they gave shipping info 10-14 days ago but it never entered the system. So I shot them a message thru the fleaBay, and they responded to say, "UPS picked up but didn't scan it in, and now it's missing. We tried to order another, but Toyota discontinued the part. Sorry, we're refunding your money."

Two orders, 3 CV axles, 1 received, damaged, all money refunded except $23.53

What a damn nightmare. Gah. Now I'm wishing I'd bought @AleHole's extra axles while I had the chance. Ugh.

They were around $600 new years back when they made them. This one appears to be refurbished with substandard parts but I don’t care as long as it’s comfortable.

Going through something similar with the transfer case I ordered.

I requested to cancel five days after payment and they still hadn't shipped. Magically I get a tracking number six hours later. Transfer case arrives in a beat to hell cardboard box. No other packaging, just hucked that shit in a box and slapped a label on it. 4wd switch is mangled. Actuator plug is mangled. To top it all off its obviously not the case that was pictured for the add. Tons of corrosion to the aluminum case and a thick layer of greasy buildup on several areas.

I sent a strong, but firm message via eBay stating my issues and that I want a full refund and a prepaid return label. They did message back and apologize, and are supposed to be getting back to me. Worst case eBay is great about protecting buyers. What a pain in the ass.

I really loathe shopping on fleaBay. I need to list some items on there in the near future, and I'm dreading every second of it.

I would say its a 1 in 10 chance of a shitty experience.

    Sellers should-
    Accurately represent the item
    Package things appropriately
    Ship within 2-3 business days
Provide tracking as soon as item is shipped

Buyers just have to pay promptly. That really shouldn't be hard, but I have encountered it a few times where a buyer waits 7+days.

It's really just a gamble on the quality of person you are dealing with.

Damn porch pirates tossed a box out from a neighborhood over, out in front of our house. Inside looked like a nice loag of sourdough, and a silver tea pot of some sort. Super weird.

I found a box with a couple shirts in it from Fredericksburg (about 50 miles away), not sure if it was porch pirates or just fell off a truck, but there was an wmpty box beside the box with the shirts. Told the ammozahn driver, he said keep it. The shirts dont fit.

Luckily the case that I repaired is preforming flawlessly, so I'm in no rush. I even fixed the output seal leak that started the whole saga to begin with
