How do you hit a tiny piece of iron pipe kicking a field goal 50 sum odd yards?!:)

The Texans have a great chance to score if they don’t mess it up. Still tied after the upright hit of the Colts.

I’ll be switched!! The Texans are ahead! Long field goal.

Ole Trevor has only had four interceptions all year and two of them today! Lowest in the NFL, at 24 he is doing pretty dang good!! I thought he was older. Another young star on the rise!!

Good game going on with the Titans!

Longest return in Bills history! From the 5 returned for a TD. This game is crazy!! Penalties, fumbles, interceptions!! Long bombs, running for monster yards! What a crazy game! It has been fun to watch!!!!:)

Good weekend for me. Steelers made the playoffs. Probably to be annihilated in the first round, but hey, playoffs.
I needed LAR and SEA to win to lock in third place in our pool. It pays out to the first 3 places. I got third without a tie and April got solo second.
    2/3 payouts to us, whoot!
We'll probably spend most of it buying rounds when we all get together next weekend, but it's still free beer and fellowship.

    Yeah, I don't get it.

I take it you mean Carroll. My wife (GF at the time) is a former NBA cheer and also coached one of the USC drill spirit squads while he was at USC. The reputation he had at SC and the NBA was he was a smug pr!ck. But, to hear the players he coached call it, they love(d) him. Personally I think it's just the association people have with him. Those who know or played for him love him, and those who don't probably only know the bad rep with him being named in that SC scandal. I just think a cocky attitude tends to come with sports and those with a winning attitude, but doesn't mean they're a bad person.

I know absolutely nothing about the SC scandal. I have also never met the man so my point of reference is purely based on my limited readings about what his players had to say. The players certainly seemed to speak highly of Carroll. whereas there doesn’t seem to be any love lost for Bill Bellichick.

Wow. I really am shocked. How do you walk away from probably the best coach and one of the best defense minds ever to be on the field…

Because BB didn't want to relinquish any power, as I expected. It was all or nothing for him. He has done a shit job since 2018 as a GM. It's why we have no talent on offense. Ideally he would stay on as head coach and have someone else be GM to bring in talent.

If he doesn't call it quits entirely, he will go with a team that will give him total control.

That’s fair. His GM skills weren’t what his coaching skills were that’s for sure. And certainly he didn’t want to be replaced as GM and take a “demotion”. But damn…

Exactly. I don't know the guy, either. I think a lot of the criticism stems from people judging him for bailing out of USC knowing that sanctions were coming. But as I remember it, the dude got an NFL offer. Like he's going to stick around and pass up a lifetime opportunity.

And there's also this article on the humanitarian side of him. A bit of a long read, but the first few paragraphs get the jist of where the article is going.
