Interesting that this was posted today after talking about mine yesterday. This is the same topper as mine except this is for a long bed and it has ARE badges on the side. Mine probably used to have some there too.

 

These days I’m sure you could get replacements for them under $20 shipped.

 

Eh, I was thinking more in terms of if it had them I would have known what brand I had. If I had waited one more day I also would have found out too lol.

How hard would it be to take a topper off a tundra. I just picked up a 2002 access cab with a Leer top in Irvine, and I'm thinking about selling it. It's still on the truck. How many guys would it take to lift it off.

The back of it looks like that thing @FrenchToasty or @des2mtn (I don't remember which one) has on the back of theirs. I like that. I think it's des because I feel like I remember Frenchy having astroturf on his tailgate. Anyway, I like it.

I moved the Leer 100R off my truck with 2 dudes, one on each side. Unclamped it, slid it down the rails until about halfway off, then grabbed with one hand in the middle, slid to put the other hand near the back, walked it off the donor truck and onto mine.

 

What do we think about this one?

 

It looks nice, but again, the overhang at the corner, while the cab end is apparently lined up correctly, makes me think that's actually an AC shell, but maybe I'm nuts.

Exactly. Depending on how it’s equipped, toppers can range from 130 to 180lbs. Sure, two people can lift it, but they are around 6ft long and around 5ft wide. It really helps to have that third person for balance. It only takes one awkward movement to drop it.
