looks great! Did you replace the coils? If not can I ask what clip are you running the bils at and what’s the ride like? Also are you running spacers for those wheels? Really trying to dial everything in before I start on my truck. Thanks

I did replace the coils. I actually had them preassembled because I don’t have the press to do them. I got 2887 because that crazy ass front bumper the previous owner put on is pretty heavy.

did not get spacers. I had to take the mudflaps off because I was rubbing on those.

to me the ride is SO much better. But the previous owner was selling because he didn’t want to take on the whole thing (I think I got a deal on it $7600??) Like the crappy rancho lift was shot and the tires were so damn bad, they were dry rotting. A scary drive home but I made it.

Looks great. Meanwhile, can we get a side shot? Just curious how level you are.

Also, it could be awesome if you could take hub-center-to-fender measurements and post in the measure-up thread, since we don't have a ton of people running OME 2887s: https://www.tundras.com/threads/how-big-is-yours-measure-up.46186/

Looks good! Stock suspension? What size tires and are you running wheel spacers on the TRDOR wheels

Thanks! Nope, Bilstein 5100s with stock sr5 coils on 3rd notch and add a leaf in the rear. 21" in front and 22.75" in rear. I want to level the truck more but ran out of money after replacing all the suspension parts a few months ago. Eventually will get UCAs and beefier coils to compensate for the ARB bumper. I am running 265/75/16 Mickey Baja Bosses. Running 1.5" spacers to make those wheels work. Overall super stoked. I have had the truck for about a year and have more plans for her

How are you liking those Mickeys? I looked at those, went with the Legends instead. Didn’t have the others in the size I wanted IIRC.

I love them! 5k miles on them so far and they blow bfgs out of the water. Super grippy in the dirt and snow, and no terrifying I am about to fly off the freeway when it's wet feeling. Plus added bonus is they look bad ass

So far so good….still have some tailgate leakage but not because of the shell’s design. It’s because of the gaps in the bed sides and tailgate. Just installed some neoprene rubber pieces right before this trip….we’ll see how it works.

I’ve installed some Sikens R6 hard insulation on the roof of the interior. Also bought a 08 Ram BedRug kit for $100 on FB markerplace that still needs fine tuning/trimming. It’s about 1.5 inches too long.

Ihave some Baja Designs S1 scene lights for the sides still need to install.

Bought a used FronEunner rack for 120 that I trimmed and refurbished to fit on the factory shell roof mounts

Wait - can we see some pics of the Bedrug kit? 1.5” (if length) means it should be a great fit for the AC trucks.

Sure I can post later next week when we get back from the ski trip.

I bought it off a guy ,that works at CJC Offroad, for $100 new in the box so I didn’t have much to lose. It’s not really a great fit just alright……

The grooves on the bottom don’t line up very well, but it feels well on the knees and looks ok

The wheel well humps are much longer on the Dodge so that’s not perfectly flat on the side pieces. The two sides and back is one long continuous piece that zips onto the floor piece so I just flattened it out.

The tail gate portion fits well.
The sides and back are the correct height
but for the DC length of the sides near the tail lights are about 1.5 inch to long.

Overall for $100 I am happy with it but for $450 probably not.

Couldn't resist going on the first proper trip with the truck camper this weekend while waiting for the ATS HD leaf packs I ordered. Got home and they were in waiting for me in front of the garage! Hopefully I'll get those on in the next week or two, and see some substantial improvement in ride quality and handling... poor stock leaf springs are really putting in some work. :D

However, the camper works great in the cold weather. It was a pretty mild night (low 30s and a slight breeze) but the camper stayed above 65 degrees inside pretty easily.

Why'd you swap the bumper? You prefer the chrome or was the white one damaged?

Damaged. Someone tagged me in a parking lot and drove off while I was donating stuff to a Kidney Fund site. Couldn't manage to source a white bumper, and thought I'd like the chrome look. I'd originally intended to go chrome rear bumper, then install a chrome grille (w/o the chrome strip on the front bumper, to be different), but ... in hindsight I wish I'd have just gotten a primed black bumper, and painted to match on my own.

1.5 gen in the front, real 1st gen in the back. You could at least swap out for the amber, red, white tail lamp assemblies

I've genuinely thought about it, but you nailed the issue: 2006 front with a 2000 rear looks like two different trucks on the same frame. It's almost like the Tundra edition of a mullet: Party out back, business up front.

EDIT: I do prefer the 2000 bumper and grille setup and rear tail lights over what I've got. But zero interest in fixing that issue.

Yall mean like an 03-04... Plastic front bumper, no ambers in the headlights, amber rears.
Except an 00-02 would have side trim on the bedsides too.

03-04 is like the bastid edition. Even more so if you got the fleet truck with the metal front bumper. It'd still have the 03-06 grill
