Dirt Deeds injectors, Addco rear sway, AEM dry flow air filter, last ever set of Stan's Try-Y headers, Borla full custom exhaust, front level, wheel spacers, and lots of electronics.
Roots type positive displacement is my preference. I'm open to the URD Rotrex based kits as well just from a cost perspective. But I really want to see what the 2UZ can do at 12-14psi on a roots blower.

I was looking up Xat because I hadn't heard of em before. Saw they make a bracket for procharger style superchargers.
As far as I know, the URD kits been out of stock since like 2020. Gadget had told me long ago he was coming out with a kit for our trucks specifically, but I doubt it'll ever happen.
He said the same about a kit for the first gen tacos like a decade ago.

But he did also mention with some elbow grease, it wouldn't be hard to adapt the 2uz 4runner/GX470 kit to our trucks.

I mean, I've always been an educated gear head and have studied engine design and performance. Any free horsepower is good for me lol. I know these 4.7s were built to extract Max HP from factory but Toyota has always been conservative with HP for reliability reasons and fuel economy (not this engine).

Nice, I've been looking at the same ones. Just not many tuners are able to dial any cams in for the 4.7 engine. Just not enough support out there. This engine wasn't very popular for tuning.

Naw, I wish! URD has been out for years of all 4.7 kits. Only Elate in Australia has that roots type that they build out per order.

I've got a super cheap paint/body guy if you need his info. I had total clear coat failure on my roof (Maaco quoted me $800 just for paint), sun-scorched fender flares, and dents/scratches all over the bed. It's still at the shop, but he did the roof, fender flares, body work, and complete bed repaint for $1,000. You could probably get your cap looking like new for $300.

You gonna want some Spidertrax wheel spacers when you upgrade to bigger tires, especially if you plan to keep the patricks. Just remember I got two practically new ones from @shifty` in my parts pile. I can hook you up with em. You'll just have to buy the other two. But hey they sell in sets of two, so you're in luck.

I'm telling you dude, scum of the earth. They steal the gd things faster than you can put them in. I hate thieves, man.

It was weird, it lasted for like 2 years after I had the stealership install the OEM hitch kit on the Highlander, then someone stole it. I replaced it a few months later, stolen again. Once more, and same again, I gave up. Totally f'n nuts. Like, how is there a market for that? You can buy them used for like $10 on scAmazon.

I've had one of these on my truck for 4 years now, the band fits perfectly with the OEM hitch receiver.

    upload_2024-1-9_11-55-0.png

I gave one to the dude who bought my wheels because it was sitting around gathering dust (I didn't expect it to last that long, and ordered as a 2pk). It's been great. The one I'm picturing here is nearly identical to what I ordered. Looks like there are quite a few on scAmazon which appear identical. Although, beware, some of these appear to advertise having a looser/larger neck band, which I wouldn't like.

Definitely weird but awesome! Got the sleeping platform too and it's nice. I'm pretty happy so far but I'll know more when we go camping next. But I never thought I'd be able to run a shell on the fiberglass besides so it's nice that I can.
