My thought on forward facing driving lights, higher up you go, tighter dispersion (spot/hyperspot) beam patterns make more sense and even color (amber reduces does zap some efficiency).

I'll be curious to see what the final output looks like. even with the fairing creating some artificial cutoff. I worry about hood splash.

 

Gotta run it at Kevink depth to eliminate that. Hopefully Casey won’t see too much increase in wind noise or light bounce. Lunar rock should be a good color for it though.. not like “site foreman” white

Finished front camera today. No pictures. It kicked my ass routing the wire thru the firewall

 

I ripped a camera wire trying to pull it through the first time because I'm an idiot. The second time I slathered the wire in dialectic grease and it was a little bit easier. I should have consulted @Fotnot beforehand.

Always use a touch of water based lube when slipping a sheathed wire through a rubber opening

I did just get the Sherpa-specific mounting brackets today in the mail.

 

I am curious - the instructions talk about a third wire that can run to a second switch for “dimming” but the bar only has two wires.

Not that I think I’ll want to run less than 39,000 lumens…

I’ll have to check with Sherpa about returning one of them.

Let me get it wired up and mounted (maybe this weekend if I finally get a day to work on oil change). I’m leaning toward spot as well for the middle, but Jesus they are proud of those lenses!

I’ve considered getting the hood “scoop” and center flat spot vinyl wrapped in matte black as well…

 

Where did you get the rear cigarette lighter USB?
