The shell is like just shy of $1900. Still cheaper than most camper shells new. I like that there is no carpet inside. I can actually still load hay in the bed with it on. Windows and mesh are fully removable, including the front one. There's pockets built inside. Less weight on the bed. It's well worth it upon first impression.

@shifty`! Just the man I wanted to talk to! Did the 5574K22 clamps above work for you? I'm slangin' big, chunky, post-lift grease. Did you just re-clamp and call it good? This is just a small portion.There's.... a lot.

BBB Industries part # 9900669 on rockauto.com and doing this because Sequoia's didn't come with a serviceable pulley and I bought the XAT light pulley kit to gain a few more free horses. So far the Alternator pulley and top idler pulley working great. The tensioner pulley did not fit.

Re-torqued my Archive Garage U Bolts after 100 and 500 mile since install. Got a little extra snugness out of them, should be good for awhile. Might do a check at each tire rotation or just use a paint pen to mark em and insure nothing is loosening up.

Yes, please! If they are different than the ones you are using on your LEER. I've thought about that style.

It looks like the clamps I bought aren't available anymore. This is the closest I could find to them, as with all Chinesium on scAmazon, they are probably all the same product. At least they're the right color, the styling is the same as my current clamps: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0785RMF1K/

Here are the clamps I've got a 6-pack of in the basement right now, which I'll probably never use, but I paid $34 shipped for - the above ones are half that cost for 1/3 less product, which is a win all day long. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J8PWW33/

I'd offer to ship you the spares I have, but you can get a new set for probably the same price it'll cost to ship these so I'm not even sure it makes sense to offer, since (if you have Prime) they'd be there faster ordering from scAmazon. But I'm open to shipping these over.

I probably had half as much grease as you, and simply cleaned the grease, then monitored. Boot still feels like it has a good amount of grease in it and I haven't been slinging anymore. The clamps appear (to me) as if they'll work fine when I crawled under the truck to line it up. Kick me a PM, I'm happy to send a pair to you.

I hadn't paid any mind to actually swapping out pulleys on everything. I mean, I know aftermarket pullies exist, and I'd swapped out a couple on my previous VWs because an old acquaintance of mine in town was machining them at the time. At the price point, I always took them as a little gimmicky.

$250 for the top, around $100 in misc. Paint and equipment I have already from the hood and other projects. Time is money, but I won't count my labor.
$350 is a fantastic investment in something valued way much more

I forgot he got the fabled windoors! :D

@The Black Mamba is the front window a flip up/down or stationary? I saw it was solid.

Flip down. Great thing is, I don't have a sliding back window, so it's perfect.

Dude, you got a hella score. Both the white ones I found for cheap in my area have sold recently. Both had broken or missing front windows. Part of me wishes I made a low-ball offer and fixed em. Then I see your ass make off like a bandit. I'll keep waiting and watching. In the meantime, the softopper will continue camping duties as needed.

Starting the new job I discussed a few months back, and I get to keep my Tundra. It will not be put up for sale. I negotiated the use of a company truck for my new role instead of reimbursement.

Now, for the Tundra.... planning on a 4.30:1 re-gear, engine management, and cams this year. And a few years down the line; built bottom end and a supercharger.

$30-50 is the norm on that one. Be careful which one you get, there's a few kinds.

Usually they're adhesive'd in on Leers. Maybe same on SnugTop, maybe @FrenchToasty can confirm. If I were you, I'd pop that joker out and get the part number off the back of it, and also take a pic of the shape. Then start your hunt with the part number first, and use the shape to confirm.

Call Camper Corrall (there's one in Dallas and one in Funky Town), they are a SnugTop dealer. Send them your camper's serial number and ask them to see if they have a replacement for that light. I had great luck with my Leer/SnugTop dealer down thisaways.

Been looking to our Aussie brothers for the next stages. Kelford 251/251 for cams and Xat for the supercharger. Still hunting an engine management, which will come first after re-gear. May have to go piggy-back until the truck is emissions exempt.

Looking at Orange Virus for ECM but unsure about management accuracy or ability to get it tuned.

Would like to go UCON-EMS but they've been out of stock at URD for a hot minute.

I'd love to hear what your engine sounds like when you're done.

So you planning on doing a procharger or what?
