We just bought $700k worth of Milwaukee Type 2 hard hats. Buy enough of them and they’ll give you a custom color (we have a special shade of green) and your logo.

Problem is the wilderness is a step down for her in creature comforts… and my older daughter really wants a wilderness (or to lift a regular one). Her 2008 Forester has a 2” lift.

I'd love to trade in Betty's '17 Legacy and get Crosstrek Wilderness. It would be a step down also because hers is loaded it's either a limited or a premium, I forget. I love how the Crosstrek Wilderness looks.

We got the premium. The higher trims had stuff she doesn't care about. If we need a wilderness vehicle, that's what the Tundra is for.

Yeah - my older daughter wants the Crosstrek Wilderness. I’m not sure it’s big enough for her adventures though.

It’s actually less diverse that that even now…that infographic is a couple of years old if I recall. But who owns the brand and what the specs and standards of quality are are two different things. There are a lot of instances where the same manufacturer has different “lines” that have different tolerances and specifications.

Hell - we even operate that way on pipe systems that require x-ray examination of the welds versus those that don’t. It takes a lot more effort to make a weld you know will look perfect under x-ray examination versus one you know will hold 90psi water for the next 30 years and will pass visual examination. To the tune of about 2x the labor for one vs the other.

Picked this up. Could have used this countless times instead of the old paper towel in wrench trick. Would have saved a bunch of time when trying to install electrical components onto the Rago over battery tray compressor mount

We bought a trip to the vet yesterday. I have a dog who loves to dig and my lack of nail maintenance bit me in the ass. We have pet insurance so the financial obligation isn't that bad. It's the taking care of the wounded, cone wearing, fur ball time consuming venture. Live and learn, keep your pet nails short...

Those hurt :( Fortunately, it will heal quick

Lack of maintenance always sneaks up on us (trucks and pups alike)... Let me know if you need help w/keeping them shorter (without a trip to the vet or groomer); there's a few other options out there.

Any new tips are always welcome. With this one he can't stand the dremel tool, where as with the lab we get the dremel out and she just comes right over for grooming. So I usually clip his nails about once a week. I know we didn't get it done last week and his nails grow godawful fast.

Some dogs dislike the Dremel due to sound; some don't like it due to vibration; some don't like it because the wheel gets hot and is still being used; and others don't like it because the Dremel is being used in the wrong direction (IE>>> spinning toward the nail instead of away from it, which causes painful vibrations and 'force' back into the base of the dog's nail where it connects to the paw which is actually bone )

One of the best new tools out there are the Diamond Dog Dremel bits. These are not sandpaper and don't get warm/hot while using, so if heat is the issue this may solve the aversion. They also trim/grind much faster, so less time = less frustration for the pup . Lastly, just make sure the bit is spinning away from the paw not into it, and that's the best you can do to reduce the aversion to the Dremel.

Diamondg - Dog - Professional Rotary Nail Grinder Bit - for Small Dogs - Painless Nail Trimmer Bits Won't Pull Hair or Get Hot - Pack of 1$39.99Amazon.comDog · Nail Trimmer

Another thing you can do, is exercise and play on asphalt or concrete a couple of times a week. This will allow the nails to self-grind, but be careful you're not tearing up pads (especially the stoppers) if they are slamming on the brakes on this surface. It takes a little time for the pads to toughen up to the hard surface, but really not worth the risk if you are comfortable trimming nails manual, which it sounds like you are.
