This was a weird one. I took mine in for this and they said they also needed to flash the ecu for a parking break issue… They said it would take a while (hours) I prepared to not have my truck for the better part of a day.

I got a call about an hour and a half after I dropped it off and they said it was done.

What brackets did u use to install it ?
The brackets I got with m4x don't work , and elevate brackets barely fit , bolts had to be cut .

probably best to tweak it based on climate conditions, I think the manual has a range, no?

I absolutely love them, no regrets. That said, I have zero complaints with the factory reflector lenses, they are probably the best stock lamps I've ever had. I did it purely for the aesthetic, and picked them up on their Black Friday sale so it didn't sting as bad. The projection of them is just as bright, I wouldn't say any brighter. There is a distinct "notch" in the light where I assume the 4 projectors meet, but it doesn't bother me. I do need to manually adjust them slightly (there is an adjustment wheel on the lamps themselves), as the highest setting on the interior dial doesn't quite bring them high enough. I would assume it's just because of bolt tightness/alignment.

Where did you get the marker lights in your grille, if you don't mind? Been looking for a set just like that.

Kinda pricey but they've held up well and worked even in -30F temps. I did have to repaint the little button head allen screws on either side of the lights after a year though.

I buy through FCP Euro due to their lifetime return program that includes used oil, which is still insane to me but I’m not complaining. Started using them when I previously owned some BMWs. As for the oil I’m trying out LiquiMoly Molygen starting with the break-in oil change and will monitor oil analysis for another 10k to 20k to see how it goes. I only have about 1500 miles on the truck at the moment.

Well, this wasn't done today, but I've started to make my modifications. Here's some pictures from December changes:

Best using this oil for years! A BMW 435 to an Audi S5. Now in my old man truck. Its great stuff. Had 2 Lexus RX 350s go well over 200k on this oil. 3rd one is at 60k now. Tundra is only 16k but very smooth!

Was in and out in about 5 hours, but they initially told me they’d have it overnight. I think it varies on if parts are on-hand or not.

I have an appointment scheduled for Monday Jan 15th. Was told they'd need half a day.
This will be my second visit at this dealership service department - first one was Service #1, EPB reprogram and fob programming. Was told 4 hours and it was ready on time.

Looks great. Have to get ya some Rokblokz to protect that paint. That's the tire size I'm going with too, after I wear these stock ones a bit

Car kicked something up on the freeway... how should I fix this?
I know the obvious answer is a c4 bumper but what should I do for now...

Dang must have been a damn bolt or something, where on the truck is that? I would say tape it off, sand it out, then touch up spray paint some primer, buff, paint, buff, and then clear coat…they make touch up kits that include everything for like $80 bucks, same with buff kits

It's the front bumper here, this is a picture taken before the damage. I'm worried about making it worse. I don't have any experience painting. Would it be hard to blend the clear coat with the rest of the bumper? I'm guessing I'd have to take it off since it's near the edge.

Yeah I mean it won’t be perfect for sure but it would be good enough to seal it up (it’s just gonna keep getting marked up anyways), you could take it off or just put it on jack stands to raise it up a bit... Is that metal or plastic? I’m away from my truck at the moment…you could probably even hammer it out from the other side if it’s just metal with one of those palm nailers..if plastic you could probably fill it with some epoxy.
Lots of YouTube videos on how to do DIY bodywork, it’s not rocket surgery.

don’t worry about making it worse…”even the Mona Lisa is falling apart” - fight club

Whatever you try to do will undoubtedly make it more obvious. It’s plastic so won’t rust, maybe touch up the exposed white plastic bits and call it god from a dyi perspective.

    Lots of stuff!
The part is pretty straight forward to remove, at least as part of a grille swap. If you were to find another one of these sections pre-painted the same color.

I had my front assembly all apart to change my grille and that is one of many pieces that makes up the front end.

I had mine apart and those pieces are at each edge of the photo.
