It was on the Facebook page. Someone said since Tesla isn’t dealers they couldn’t do it or didn’t want to do it.

    See above post ^^ :D

I'm guessing a lot of Tesla employees made assumptions and passed those on to potential buyers.

I found this interesting. People have been going crazy saying that the Cyber Truck will never rust due to it being stainless steel. The magnet sticking to it shows that it obviously isn't the same grade as the top of the tool box. The magnet sticking to it shows me there is more ferrous in it. That being said, I do think that the panels will eventually pit in places like the rust belt.

Generally speaking...I still get balled up over tax credits as a Gov incentive to purchase a free market item.

    it's simply antithetical.

If the free market does not want it....the Gov should step away. i.e. solar, wind, EV's, fat free cheese, turkey bacon, etc.

On a related note, if folks knew what these things can do, the orders would be off the charts. Butts in seats sell the cars. I always let curious folks come for a ride and drive it if I know them. There's always a "so what's the catch?" question after experiencing the car

Not having to go to war against a sales person and their manager whose sole goal is to extract as much money from you as possible is also a nice benefit

our '21 with 24k miles on it has had zero maintenance. None.

and I've changed oil, diff oil, trans oil, replaced batteries, etc....

and the Tesla sits over there and mocks me.

Imagine a 1020hp hot rod that needs ZERO maint in 24k miles....unhearded of.

and painting the rim scuffs is not maint....that's a simple stupid tax.

Yep and when I tell them the brakes will pretty much last the life of the vehicle they cannot believe it…they ask about warranty and I let them know it’s longer than Toyotas too. Mind. Blown.

The games, sound system, Sentry, streaming, web, etc etc etc all just add more to it that they cannot believe

When I show them the track feature, and how I can do donuts all day if I want then they’re just speechless lol

Dont forget the MyQ easy (30 second) install, or remote install in the frunk and how it will open/close the garage / gate without having to touch a thing.

I have the homelink install ($350 includes Tesla mobile coming out to install it or diy if you prefer). Use it to open my apartment complex's gate and the garage. Easy to program on your own. Might get the MyQ adapter for one of the garages.

What's also cool is you can tell the Tesla to auto fold the mirrors for any of the garage/gate locations if you know it's gonna be a tight fit. It'll auto unfold them once you leave the area.

I wish Elon would add an airdrop for Tesla. See another Tesla within X' give it a digital airdrop wave or something. Even cooler if it can be a voice to text airdrop.
