I am considering a truck vault in bed storage system to be installed under my existing bed cover. Does anyone have experience with this brand that they could share? Other options you have used with good results?

Ill be using it to store basic handman/roofing hand tools, safety equipment and hardware. Ideally this would come in handy on road trips as well. TIA

    We ran them in SUVs...

Early systems did not have drawer glides, so as they got heavy they would really start to bind up and were difficult to slide. These units were also very heavy; so, vehicle payload was maxed out pretty quick...

They improved over the years and added glides to the drawers and the boxes were lighter...

Either option I'd look to run dual drawers in lieu of one single wide drawer...

Most of these systems can be cut through fairly easily; so just be aware they are not a 'safe', but they do add another layer of protection/deterrent

I've never ran a decked unit, but I'd imagine they are not much different. So, I'd look to the system that offers the most flexibility and configuration options to suit your needs, customer service is big, pricing of course, and then depending on where you live things like stainless steel glides and hardware may or may not be important...

I've used them in the past in work vehicles, they're OK. I've since moved over to this vendor for 95% of our secure storage needs: https://bbenterprisesinc.com/

I have the standard box in my truck: 44X29X16.5 w/2" lip:

They have an options to a 60" 2 drawer that's nice, but also $$$. Since I carry my spare inside the bed I decided against that one:

I also have one of their boxes in my Wifes 4R:
