Inside the later-model 1st gen catalogs there's a list of accessories. One of them is "sport pedal covers". Basically marketed now as "TRD pedal package" or something now. Nothing fancy, rubber, with an alloy cap, but the rubber buttons are extra grippy, you lube them up with soapy water and finagle them over the pedal stub. Here's the pic from the catalog:

    upload_2024-1-1_14-29-47.png
The pedals themselves originally came packaged from "Autobahn Motorwerks" and packaging looked like this, although i think these are for later model Taco or Sequoia:

At one point they added an "OBX" above the word "Autobahn", but whatever.

Anyway, whole point here. I've managed to find the Toyota part number for damn near every vehicle 2006+, but had one hell of a time finding the part number for 1st gen Tundras. I wrote all this crap down, since it took what felt like an eternity to dig it all up. Here are the parts numbers, sadly it looks like they're discontinued.

PTS22-34030 => Access Cab, Regular Cab (2005-2006, auto)
    PTS22-0C030 ==> Double Cab (2005-2006, auto)

It looks like the latter part number also fits the same year range 4Runner.

I'm curious, the 2nd gen part number is PTS22-34070 and supposedly fits 2007-2009 per the vintage parts sheets I've been able to Google Fu over an hour or so of hunting yesterday. There's a ton of PDF 'accessory list' sheets I've been able to find, like this one, that give the part numbers:

    upload_2024-1-1_14-45-6.png

Many are showing as "in stock" for newer models at online parts stores. So I hit Google Images and started searching for boxes, and I see most boxes have a p/n sticker on them, but in all my hunting I cannot seem to come up with an image for a box for a pre-2007 Tundra. Here's two example stickers with the aftermarket part number:

    upload_2024-1-1_14-57-59.png

There are also some replacement covers you can buy with an OEM part number, Like the 2006-2013 IS350/IS250 pedal covers are part numbers 58192-53061 (dead pedal), 47121-53010 (brake), 04000-14253 (gas).

Granted I'd love to find a TRD kit that like this one for the 200-series HiAce, where the TRD and stripes are milled into the pedal icover itself:

I guess I could see if the pedal part numbers for the 2007 Tundra are the same as the '06 Tundra? Maybe theirs will fit ours? I'm attaching the 2007 Tundra install sheet as a PDF so I don't lose it, and for future info in case the 2nd gen dudes find this one day.

    Anyway, whatever. Info dump.

Oh and I found another accessory listing with lots of parts numbers (basically 80%+ discontinued) for the 2006 4WD Tundra at some Supra fansite. Attaching that PDF.

the 05+ trucks have the all plastic gas pedal. nothing really attaches to that very well. the older ones might have the style you can swap the face out on. but im not sure.. i've got the is300 sport pedals in my mr2.

the annoying part is the camry sport pedal works for the tundra electronically. (i've checked it) but the mountings different so of no use to us... which really freaking sucks

I saw some kits online that use a tension pin to replace the hinged face. Basically same style of tension pin you'll find in the access cab's rear vent window hinges.

The main reason I posted all that content above is b/c I'm similar, and I knew if I didn't post the 500 tabs I had open, I'd just forget it all tomorrow and need to go down another rabbithole.
