    Hi All -

I'm installing AMP Power Steps on my truck and have a wiring question. The instructions say to use Posi-Taps to connect blue and white wires from the AMP harness to blue and white wires in the truck (white plug). My AMP harness only has a purple and purple/black wires going in to the truck. I connected these to the matching wires on the OBD-II adapter and the steps don't deploy.

There are a couple blue and white wires coming off the OBD-II plug adapter and no clear details on where/if they connect to something. Are they supposed to connect to the blue and white wires going to the truck harness (white plug)?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem. My harness only has the purple and purple/black wires which are supposed to connect to the OBD adapter. After talking to AMP tech support, 2024 Tundra is not supported, so didn’t get anywhere and am returning the steps. I called tech support before installing, though, because the instructions were confusing. I unboxed the harness and called. I’ve had AMP steps on 3 previous trucks and have never seen both OBD-II adapter AND posi-taps. It was one or the other, not both. Tech support confirmed that this configuration is both and he could not reassure me that it would work on my 2024 Limited non-hybrid nor could he give me an eta of when development would figure it out. So, I am returning mine and will potentially try again once they figure it out.
