Nice! It's a nice little upgrade. Also was a great opportunity to clean out all of the crevices and give everything a fresh wipe down.

I've got that same one. I liked the topography look of it!

Do I need a new tire or will a plug suffice? Pretty close to the sidewall.IMG_1060.jpg

A tire shop will not plug/patch that because the puncture is right on the edge of the steel belt. That sucks too. It appears you have a lot of tread remaining on that tire.

I can plug it. Just wondering how safe/unsafe it is.

I'll let others with more experience chime in. Basically, to get off a trail and back home or to civilization, plug it and go. Replace the tire ASAP. Permanent repair? Not on my truck.

I hear you loud and clear. I’m sure that will be the consensus. Luckily it’s an extremely slow leak. The tire still gains pressure when it’s warmed up. These things have 50K miles btw. Impressed with how they’ve lasted.

That's next on my big project list but waiting for a little warmer weather here first. I will be doing the exact same set up except a white DD light bar. @Val4x42 Did you relocate the control box because of convenience to access the remote controls, or because it did not fit with the grill and support bar? Looks like you used the Rago air compressor mount? Mocking everything up on my rig it doesn't look like the control box would quite fit and I'd like to be prepared before I have everything torn apart.

Yes, unfortunately I will have to unmount the winch box. Everything else can stay on the mounting plate from Rago that I used. I know it is not perfect, but there is not a lot of space anywhere for all that

Yes, that box is huge. And there is no reason for it at all. It will not fit anywhere in the bumper. If you like me don't like it maybe you can fabricate a plastic box for components, there is just two components inside that are not anywhere that big to justify that size of a box. I was thinking about this but don't have time right now, truck needs to be operational. You will also need to cut the winch lever to be able to rotate it.

You would need at least 40 ft of 2 gauge wire to relocate it. I used 20ft jumper cables from HF and crimped new lugs with their hydraulic crimper. Lugs are 5/16 lugs for 2ga from AutoZone. That's a lot of work but doable if you have time.

DD fog lights also need a stack of washers to sit where they should. DD light bar wouldn't fit in with CBI mounts, but a hammer solves it (you would need to repaint them after you straighten them up a bit). This all was funny

I put all wires into the split tubing conduit. 10ft of 1.5" for winch wires and smaller tubing for everything else. Then put an electrical tape over them for additional protection. Otherwise it looks way worse without the conduits and will probably be damaged

I installed the auxbeam switch panel for 6 lights. Only using it for light bar now, but adding more lights now in the front would be very easy. That BC60 switch panel is fully serviceable and doesn't cost a lot, it has all relays replaceable individually if needed. I added the 60A auto circuit breaker from NAPA to protect it all together (probably don't need to do that, but I wanted for peace of mind)

I appreciate the info! I was going to also go the jumper cable route for rewiring the control box. sucks about needing to cut the winch clutch lever. I was able to get my light bar installed using the CBI mounts, though I did buy a couple longer screws to account for the bracket thickness. It was tight but it wedged into its spot just fine.

You can technically plug it but I have doubts on how long that plug would last. You would essentially be putting a loose bandaid on a papercut while on blood thinners.

This is where I installed the switch panel. Mounted on to the underneath of the plastic panel with the cigarette lighters so if I ever want to remove it the holes won't be visible

    I’d be replacing it.
Either get a new set and now you’ve got a full size spare (one of the other three), OR replace just two and more you’re still got a full size spare.
50k isn’t a bad run for a set of decent AT tires, but you do still have some life left if you don’t want to swap them all right

This may be a dumb question and I don't wanna start a new thread for it but... What are these?

    20231228_145916.jpg

I bought my truck used and found a wiring harness dangling out the back end of the bed and found out it's likely from a leer shell. Could these be from the shell also? A way of mounting it maybe?

Went out and tested the new motor mounts and other parts. Confirmed the motor did not fall out during the big whoops and jump I hit today.

Had something similar happen to me. I was able to find a shop to cauterize it. Ran it until the tire was worn out.

Just getting started.... Start X remote starter.
Sigggghhhh I hear ya, I will walk an extra 500ft to park away from everyone yet there seems to be an attraction to the trucks !!! That said I can't chirp too much cause my wife has a Subaru and it and the Tundra play well together. Lol
