Have never owned a Tundra before, but have always been curious about owning one. I found a 2024 Limited with the TRD Pro pkg that I like. I do not put a lot of miles on my trucks as I have only used then to tow my bass boat or use for running to the Home Depot type stores so I do not rack up a lot of miles. Because of this I would like to buy the Toyota extended service warranty for 8 years/125K miles as I will be out of the warranty due to the truck being over the 3 years than the mileage.

I know that these warranties are subjective as far as pricing and are negotiable. What is a fair price for the extended warranty that I am looking for? The dealer initially shot me a price over $4K and that is not happening as I know that is way too much. The truck I am looking at has some options that I would never have ordered on a truck but want to make sure that I am covered down the road just in case.

Yeah I know some will say extended warranties are not needed but they have worked for me in the past and have more than paid for themselves. I see it as just having peace of mind.

    Thanks

    Hey Angle

The good thing is you have 3yrs or 36000 miles to decide
I have paid about $1400 for my extended warranty in the past
But I didnt purchase it until my original warranty was about to expire
$4000 seems like way to much

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! As previously stated, $4k for that extended warranty is over 3X what you should pay.

Not sure. I initiated the conversation via phone. You might try giving him a call on his cell.

Thanks. I sent a text as I did not want to bug him if he was busy with customers.
