You must live in Colorado. The asshats that build homes here do 18.6-19.8' deep garages in most cases.

I have had a hell of a time finding a garage 24' deep.

Mine barely fits my girlfriends Mazda 2. My garage could probably fit in my Tundra.

Most garages are like most parking spaces as well as seats in arenas and ballparks...way too damn small!

Agree completely. We looked at moving (downsizing) a couple of years ago, but I couldn't find an acceptable solution to the small garages. I am fortunate to have a very nice sized 3 car garage that my Tundra fits easily into. Been in this house for 18 years and require that all vehicles fit inside the garage. We have too many hail storms here in central Texas...

Garage is definitely big enough but right now only the wife parks her Highlander in it since the kids use it for a storage unit!

My neighbor is 95 years old (still drives good too) and used to park in his garage until about 4 years ago his grandkids packed his garage full of their stuff. He regularly complains to me that he is just being used for free storage.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be a true garage without a bunch of crap in there that you don't need or will ever use..let alone ever see again.....heh heh

My neighbor is just too nice of a guy. He seriously has about the biggest heart of anyone i know. He is also busy all the time and i think he is more active than a lot of young people these days. He donates most of his time to his church, habitat for humanity, meals on wheels, and he does mission trips and builds furniture for his grandkids too. He also built a little rocking chair for my son. He built his own wood shop in his backyard 5 years ago as well as roofed the house and shop but he did have some help up on the roof. lol. He is the best neighbor ever.

With the 35" tires and 3" lift, I would scrape the top of the door opening if I tried to pull it in, but that wouldn't do me any good anyhow, I have 4 cars and a snowmobile already in there taking up all of the space.

No hope in heck of fitting my Tundra in the garage. When I brought my Buick Grand National to the new house for the first time It didn't clear by a foot. There was a "nook" in the garage, (unneccesary built out lip on wall) which got atacked by a DeWalt sawzall that same night.

Are they foam? I need to rework my garage to make the truck fit, I stole my wife's spot the other night just to see if it would fit. On my current side I have my workbench and toolbox. Going to have to move those over.

Yes, they're a soft dense foam. I have the chrome bumper so it doesn't leave a mark. If I had color-matched bumpers, I wouldn't hit it.

Should have seen what it cost to extend the garage 4 feet when we built the place. She fits, but just.
