Finally found a place that wasn't afraid to mount my tires (I'm currently working in a small town in MS) on my new wheels. Found a great deal a month ago on some one day used Nitto Recon Grappler 275/65/20 tires, and just had them installed on Fuel Catalyst 20x9, 0 offset wheels. I'm super excited about how they turned out.

With the zero offset, they do have a bit of poke, but I've got some RekGen mud flaps to install, and may add some RC flares, but not sure yet. I do get some minor rubbing at full lock, but haven't had time to go pin back the felt or check it out yet.

I've become an un-solicited and un-paid promoter for www.rimzoneonline.com after the incredible customer service they provided. I don't get anything from them, and they didn't ask me to do this, but I feel obliged to. It takes me quite a bit of time and research to find what I want, and how to do it. To me, wheel selection was a nightmare, as there were so many choices. I spent 2 months looking for the exact wheels I wanted. Once I found these Fuel Catalyst wheels, I knew I HAD to have them on my truck. I ordered them from a major retail truck supply company (REAL-ly easy to guess which one) and they contacted me a day after I placed the order, and told me that there was a national backorder on these wheels for 3 months.

I reached out via email to a number of Fuel dealers, and RIMZ ONE was one of three to respond. The other two stated exactly what was on their websites, but Mike at RIMZ ONE took the time to do a bit more research. He reached out to his Fuel rep, found out Fuel had released the ads and promotions before being able to get the assembly process fully implemented. He told Mike he had 2 sets of my size and pattern coming into the states, and if he wanted a set, to let him know. Having read my email, and understanding my eagerness to get them, Mike didn't even wait to tell him to reserve a set for me. He then called and told me they'd be a couple of weeks out (not knowing how long they'd sit in LA before the container was unloaded). To my surprise and amazement, they arrived 5 days later. Mike went above and beyond to get me a set, and although they offer free shipping, he expedited my wheels at no added cost. Plus, they were $400 cheaper than anywhere else I found. My out the door cost for wheels, TPMS sensors, Gorilla lug nuts, and a new lug nut wrench was less than just the wheels from the other sites.

To say that I'm happy with how they turned out is an understatement. I don't like spending my money on flashy things, but I'm so glad I finally loosened the wallet to get them.

You should find another dealer, if possible.

My dealer had me test drive a platinum with 35s and a 3" lift before Toyota even introduced the factory lift. Everything functioned properly. Plus, the number of guys here with big tires and lifts suggests it isn't a problem.

Yeah I'm pretty much done with this dealer after this experience. All for a tenth of an inch.

Has anyone put snowflakes on yet? I’ve always thought they looked good and wanted to put them on my 14’, but didn’t want to run lug adapters (could NEVER find 5x150, so I’m stoked about the 6x5.5).

I haven’t seen a lot of chrome or polished aluminum setups on the 3rd gen, and unlike a lot of folks, I kind of have a fatal attraction to chrome, although I like to think in a tasteful way. Not looking for stupid offset and big muds, but more of a clean 33” A/T setup with the slightest bit of poke. I just hate how wimpy the stock setup is.

Anyway, I’ve only found one guy on google that has snowflakes and I thought it looked clean. Also a picture of my 14’ Limited, which I thought turned out pretty good.

These are 295/65r20 tires on Stock Rims. TRD Lift Kit.
I may have parked in a mole hole - the truck usually appears more level than this picture.

Niceeeee! Are you on a lift or stock height? I’m between 285/75 or 275/70 on stock height and concerned with rubbing hence the latter, but considering these have a +19 offset that shouldn’t really be an issue right? Compared to stock offset of +60.

Looks great. Love how it maintained some rake. Maybe it's because I have a 6.5ft bed and the weight distribution is different but I feel like my trd lift is level. It's definitely squatting a tiny bit with only camping gear in the bed.

Fairly new around here but have been lurking for months prior to buying this truck in September. I didn’t want a lot of tire outside the fender so anything under a +20 offset wasn’t in my wheelhouse. That really limited things especially when damn near every thing I wanted has been on backorder for months.

I ultimately went with 285/75 tire on an 18x8 wheel with a +35 offset. I previously installed a 1.75” RC leveling kit to change the stance so the larger tire really fills the space well. I also installed 1” Cornfed spacers to give some rake and prevent squatting while towing.

Unfortunately, the wheel just grazed the mud flap on full lock. I had the shop pull the flaps all around for the time being just for symmetry.

Thanks to everyone in this thread for sharing their setups as it made the research so much easier.

Any rubbing issues with the full 35x12.5's? Trying to decide between 35x12.5R18 or going a little narrower with 295/70R18 (11.6" wide) or 305/70R18 (12" wide).

Haven’t experienced any rubbing yet, even at full turn. I haven’t been off road yet but seems like it should be fine.

First time seeing pics of your truck, looking good. You were right we really can be twins, only difference I see is hybrid. I'm even a softopper guy as well but still need to get one for this new truck. Debating on trying the Fas Top or sticking with Softopper.

Good to hear. I think the trick is aftermarket wheels at +18 offset. Any pics from the front showing the poke?

Thank you sir. That settles it, exactly what I'm looking for. Just a little penetration.

Edit: Did you have to trim anything or remove that bracket behind the front wheel liners?
