Big Sale on Method Wheels

Here's a sample link from eBay. There are other styles and even cheaper prices available from other sellers, but this should help you get started. Even the regular Discount Tire app has sale prices available. Although not quite as good.

Apparently other brands are also available, but I didn't check into that.

 

To add to this- If you don't want to use the Discount Tire ebay store, I did the price match feature on the regular Discount Tire site. I got the reply that they would match it. Just ordered a set from a local store.

 

Well, nevermind. Discount Tire Direct raised the prices. Last night it was $323 for 2 wheels, or $161.50 each, which was what I was able to have price matched. I'm sure the other sellers are still priced cheap, and they will probably still price match.

Ha somebody at DT messed up! They had a set of (4) 316's listed for $269 w/ free shipping... was going order them but knew they'd just cancel it

 

I ordered a set of 17" MR316 and 18" MR305 last night before they changed the prices. Not sure if they will ship, but worth a try! I'd be happy with either (or both!).

 

I saw some priced like that from a different seller.

 

Discount Tire still priced matched for me this morning at the local store. $161.50 ea. 707 in the Bahia Blue 18". I called the order in.

 

Seems like there is certain wheels that they are just about giving away for around 50% off. Of course one of them was a set I don’t need at all but have been eyeballing a while…

 

I didn't really need them either, at least not right now, but prices too good to pass up.

 

I got an order in on EBay for some MR315s….

I think all of the wheels that are about 50% off are basically on clearance due to being discontinued in the future. The 702s I ordered aren’t listed on methods website anymore for 5x150, nor are the 707s in the blue color…..tempts me to buy a 5th as a spare but chances are if anything ever happened to one I’d just move on to the next wheel as I get bored with wheels quickly.

 

I read some people are having their orders canceled now because it was a glitch in some of the pricing.

 

Where are you reading about it, another thread?

 

I saw it on tundra facebook groups but there is some people also getting notifications of the wheels shipping.

 

The just messaged me and cancelled my order. Said it was a glitch in the system and the price was wrong.

I just got a shipping confirmation for mine. Would they still cancel it if I got that?

 

I think it depends who you ordered from. Some of the pricing was correct, the stuff in the 50% off range. There was some advertising showing all 4 wheels for $200- $350. Those are the ones I believe that are being cancelled.

 

A few ppl went balls out and ordered multiple sets. It got shut down pretty quickly. DT canceled a ton of orders thereby pissing the greedy ppl off - they tried to lambast Discount on FB to which their plan ended up backfiring when ppl stood up for the company instead.

 

They did offer 20% off the “normal” price after they cancelled my order haha

 

I saw similar 50% ish off deals on Amazon for some methods as well, may want to check there.

 

One got cancelled and another is still pending. I think a lot of people who purchased other than Method got theirs shipped.
