    2024 1794.... purchased on 12/16.
    I have Sirius installed.
    I have Android Auto installed.
    I am running WAZE
I have tuned to a channel, saved it as a favorite (❤️) and listened to it.
When I start the truck again (waze screen starts up) and then Sirius *changes* the channel to some other station that is NOT on my favorites list and not something that I listen to......
Why won't it *stay* on the channel that I was listening to when I shut off the truck?
Anyone else experience this - AND have a "fix"?

If waze is starting when you start the truck, then somehow carplay is taking over when you start your truck initially. I guess I have a few questions - Are you running Sirius XM form your phone and piping it through carplay, or are you using the radio? My truck will continue where it left off when I start it, so if I'm using Amazon Music (for example) and piping it through carplay from my phone, it will go to that when I start it. Just for a test, you can stop your phone form connecting to your truck with carplay (probably an option in settings I would think - I have an iphone). That should stop waze (or any other app on your phone) from strating on your truck. That way there's no interference from your phone - your truck should be completely on its own. See what it does form there.

I'm just thinking if you remove your phone form the equation, your truck has no choice but to use the apps within itself.

    Interesting.
I'm using android auto - not carplay - but the process *should* be similar.
Yes, I am connecting to the tundra via my app, but if I've selected a station on the app Or through the trucks multi-media system - the LAST channel that I was listening to should still be playing.

That could be the issue. Carplay/Android Auto may not work as expected (maybe?). Try just using the radio only and see what it does. The only hiccup I get now and then is for some reason the radio and phone just won't connect. It will fix itself if I stop/start the truck.

You could always try pushing in the volume knob (hold for a few seconds) and it'll reboot multimedia system without restarting truck. Quick press of volume knob is mute/unmute.

I’m trying to figure mine out. When I press the phone icon on the screen I get waze to get back to the radio screen I have to go to the Toyota app.

Thanks! I hadn't read that on the manual! (and, yes. I really DO read the manual!)

I had so many issues with my Android phone and Toyota's multimedia that I finally just completely disconnected my phone from the system. I absolutely hated how every time I received a call, the system screen switched to the phone and stayed there, instead of going back to where it was prior to the call. After hanging up the phone, I would have to go through about 6 steps on the screen to get back where I was. Then, suddenly, every time I started my truck, it would go to YouTube music on my phone automatically. Every time. Sorry, but Toyota absolutely sucks designing the multimedia system. They should pay an outside company to design their system. I love the truck but hate the multimedia system.

Thanks. I've had the truck for a week (today) - but the infotainment system is still awkward to use. I mainly use Waze, but the "report" button is so far away (far right side of the screen) that it makes reporting a real 'twister' moment.
