Never had remote start until recently (inherited mother's car) and we don't even use it. wait, I think we did one time. We just tough it out I guess.
All I hear about remote start, and car alarms is the horror stories about how shops mangle your wiring... no thanks.

I just remember working in the quick lube shop and all the PoS cars that came in with those aftermarket alarms that would go off for no reason while moving or working on the cars.

Looks like the body panels were as thin as the newer Tundras with their beer can body.

Yeah I guess when the time comes I can just lay them down on the ground together and see if the arc looks like it’ll match up. If not, just get an AAL. But worth trying to save some dollars…

I am a happy man, I've had my 06 tundra since 08/2019. A great truck, took a road trip from Tn to Co and back this last summer, ran like a champ. Now a couple months ago I snagged a 2004 Lexus LS430 with 70,000 miles. After a couple months I can say the LS430 is a gem. I now own two of the best vehicles ever produced. Did I mention, I'm a happy man

Of course. You can see the 3 lane jumping perpetrator in the background.

I forgot the technical name/color, but hammered black powder coat is the sex, it doesn’t hold water and grime like other textured PC options

I did just treat myself to a wire welder. :monocle:

Unfortunately, that wheel took a pretty good whack and I had to have it towed. Police were rushing us to get it cleared and I wasn’t able to crawl under it to see how bad it really was.
