HQ is up there, but they have their network of shops all over the place. Just hit up their website. I used New England Rust Prevention in Ayer, MA. Took them about 4-5 hours (including dealing with the cat shields).

I have one but I still have to get the 8.5 quarts into a container for disposal. the 3.5 gal bucket is the easiest solution to have one container instead of fills into multiple smaller containers.

Installed the TRD Skid. It was a much bigger PITA than I thought it would be because of my cat shield. I also now know why that nut plate exists. I didnt get one but wished I had.

*the truck is on the ground, the jack/stand are just holding the plate in place.
*yes I do also love Harbor Freight
*I also need to either lose weight or get a lift. Sliding under this truck sucks.

    *googles lifts*

Love them - I've had them for a year or so. Install couldn't be any easier. I'm really impressed with DD quality and I'll probably add a set of their ss3 spots for ditch lights soon.

There are 3 places that apply it with in 40 minutes of my house. Usually places that do bed liners or other auto related businesses are dealers. If you go to their website, it shows where the dealers are. Costs about $200 to do a pickup.

Thank you. I did just that. Found out there's a place about 40 min. from me (Bullet Liner in Milford CT.). However, I've read a couple of reviews on this place. Maybe its just the nature of the beast, but quite a few people are saying that they get home and the stuff is still dripping all over their driveway/garage and continues to drip for days after. If that's just the way it is, did you just park on the grass or street out front of the house for a few days? There are also complaints that parts of the undercarriage are never touched, doors are never touched, the spare tire getting coated more than the undercarriage, etc. I don't have the time to do it myself., so just looking to get the job done right.

I've not done jack for a week now but lay around and be lazy in my sweatpants. I have my guy here doing a full exterior detail, cut and polish some scratches and swirl marks, and getting it ceramic coated. Gonna look so good.

I think this is where you need to do your own research and find the best vender in your area. My cost was $500 for the truck in a more eastern MA location, but I'm fine with that because the shop had great reviews and was 1.5 hours of total drop off/pick up travel time.

Dripping is a possibility and it can be slippery. If you have a garage, throw some news paper or towels down for a few days. Or park it in the street. It's eco friendly and ultimately an enhanced mineral oil. I have not had any dripping, but I also had to drive 45 minutes on a highway to get home.

Only other thing is no undercarriage washes. As I was told, the nastier the better since the oil is doing its job underneath and the rest is just a barrier.

It does make the garage smell. Not bad, but not great.

You can also buy the DIY kits, but to not be under my truck taping and then applying, it was worth the $$$ (and a receipt for warranty) to me.

    Good luck!

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Man ‘o man…. its been a few months since I was last posting here. Amazing how this year has flown by!! I’ve had an array of projects on the rig in recent months…but work and life have kept the progress to minimum. Specifically with some new lighting, shoes and suspension redesigns.
I hope to have some more progress pics/posts coming soon…and will be offering up some parts that I’m not going to use after changing my mind a few times.

    For now and from a few months ago;
Started with some custom/ DIY, SAIP relocation. Sourced some 1” braided hose and some AN fittings, and small filters.
Bc of my intake/ air box and the limited flexibility of the hoses, I decided to route it up along the underside of the fender well.
After a fair bit of test fitting and bending, I used some heavy duty shrink tubing to cover the hoses and while using the heat gun made my bends and shaping. Took the SAI pump assembly out and cleaned the pumps as best I could, then did a shit ton of cleaning behind the fender liner. Ultimately decided to drill small inlet through the fender bay wall, bringing the hoses in behind the air box, used some heavy duty zip ties to secure it to the frame openings.
I used a double hose bracket, attached it to the top of the lid to the electrical box. Nice and clean and out of the way of any water/moisture and dirt.

    Looking toward front of truck:
    IMG_7846.jpg

Looking up at inlet into the engine bay. With the fender liner back on all of this is not visible.

Dang, you really ran the lines up the fender well. I just popped them in to the left of the SAIP, and ran it upwards.

Might do the SDHQ windshield fluid reservoir relocate kit to get some more space up front.
