Listed for sale locally as compatible with a first gen Tacoma. Wondering how much massaging it'd take to get working on my truck. My front bumper is pretty worked.

Probably would need to cut it in half and widen it several inches

^ That was my suspicion -- that it isn't actually for a Taco. Any knowledgable folks know what it is for? Question still stands whether it'd work for the FGT.

    Imma keep it stock
There is absolutely no way to confirm nor deny that from just two pictures. You would have to take several measurements and compare those to your truck. Even then, it will involve fabrication and modification.

The only difference I can see is someone cut out a spot for a light bar

Signal lights are a different size, frame cans a different, the cutout isn't for a light bar it's for air flow (back in those years light bars weren't really a thing yet) and the cutout on the top to see the winch is different. The 2001-2004 Tacoma ARB bumpers required you to clock the winch to access the clutch lever from a cutout on the bottom.

Lived with one for almost 15 years :)
