It's sad, I've seen so many f'n tops at this point, I see the stupid ass details like that.

Angle of the cab wall is also a tell. Like, the cab wall of that mismatch cap on the F150 is near-vertical. Tundras have more of a forward slant, more of an 80° angle, but with a bit of a parenthetic curve, like this:

Really nice Leer, looks like a 100R for a DC in white, down in North FL/panhandle for $600. Note the fiberglass chips on the rear driver corner, maybe conversation to knock a C-note off.

Seller listed measurements as 68x77...that would be for an access cab, right? (@shifty way back on page one you mentioned to look for length measurements between 77-78 for access cabs.) Assuming, of course, the seller measured correctly. Messaged them to see if it came off an AC or DC.camper shell.png

Yeah, 77-78 should be AC. 75-76 for DC. But with numbers that close (you're talking ballpark 1" - 1.5" realstic difference) the chance for a mis-measure are a strong non-zero.

That's what I was thinking. Seller messaged back and said they thought it came off a DC and measurements were the outside measurements, not the inside. Guess that could account for a bit of a discrepancy. I've seen a lot of debate of how snugly DC tops will fit AC. Kind of tempted to drive over and check it out regardless.

Some people confuse double cab and access cab also. They think "4 doors, it's a double cab!", and sometimes I'm asking if the rear doors opened normally or if they were suicide doors.

The camper I checked out yesterday for $350 was a wash. Broken front window.
Too other white campers listed on FBM this week in my area. But neither of the sellers have responded, even though I can see that they've seen my messages.
WTF? How you going to put something for sale and ignore a potential buyer? One is for $250 that looks to be in about the same shape as the one I saw yesterday. I wonder if it too is also hiding an undisclosed broken window. The last one looks great at $400.

Edit: after some proding I finally got a response. Seems to be for a DC. Seller didn't know what year or model tundra it came from, but gave the measurements 67x74

But that is hinged on the front instead of the side. No inverted back window, either.

Thank you for subscribing to random truck camper info reply "STOP" to cancel.

Flip pac is way cooler IMO. It only occupies space your truck is already occupying.

Sorry if this question was already asked previously. I found a RCLB Camper Top on FB marketplace. Owner says it fits either a T-100 or a 00-06 RCLB Tundra. Are the bed measurements the same on the 1st Gens as T-100's? If it was in state I'd just go drive and try it on.

Get a height measurement. Is the rclb bed exactly 96"?

They are very close. I've heard of t100 owners using tundra caps. Probably comparable to how close the AC and DC tundra caps are. I would Google the bed dimensions or ask on a T100 forum/FB group. There's a T100/1G Tundra FB group. That would probably be your best bet asking there.

I also never thought about having a 8-9ft 6”-8” PVC on top of the truck for trim, pipe, or carrying other stuff you’d normally need to tie down lest it be flapping around. That’s clever as hell. And using a standard clean out cap on either end to secure it … nice. I thought it was a canopy at first! I’m trying to see what you’re seeing on the driver side but on a small screen ATM. EDIT: n/m I see the zipper now! I wonder if the PVC is for fly fishing rods or some other type of rods?
