Want to change out my factory headlights for LED.
Will I need a new harness?
Any preferred brands or brands to stay away from?
    Is it a tough install?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Best bang for the buck is to use the factory TRD Led headlights. You can get them from any toyota dealer or look around for used. And you will need the @iHacker harness to connect. Plenty of threads on this swap if you search.

same as above, TRD PRO light and @iHacker harness.
Just know that adjusting/aiming the headlight might need a little more patience, it was hell for me and took three days to get it done.
The space behind the auto-leveling motor is not for general entrance.....super tight.

I bought a 2015 Tundra that already has the OEM LED headlights. I don't know what harness was used to install, but the LED DRLs are on anytime the key is in the on position. Is that the way all these headlights harnesses work? I would prefer that the DRL would be off when the truck is in park like the factory DRLs appear to do. Not sure if there is a different harness I can buy that would follow the stock DRL pattern. Right now when I turn truck to on, LED DRLs on. Then start truck, still just LED DRLs on. When I put it in drive, then the amber DRLs turn on too. I'd like the LED DRLs to come on when the ambers do, and then I want to disable the ambers.

edit: I see Mine are wired to the fuse box so I assume I could get a different harness that taps off the DRL circuit.

If you just swap the bulbs for $50-60, no harness needed. That's what I did, they have been going strong for 3+years and I've never blinded anyone or had anyone flash their highbeams at me.

You have to remove the entire grille, which is a pain, but it can be done.

Watch a couple YouTube videos to see where the clips are, take your time and it should go smoothly.

$50 vs $1000+ Canadian, was an easy decision for me at the time.
. I don't drive too much at night where there aren't already street lights and I have Diode Dynamic Fogs. I have a lightbar if needed in remote areas.

When they burn out, I'll probably splurge for TRD LED and iHacker.

I too am looking to upgrade my 2015 lights for the white LED DRL's instead of the amber DRL's. And also would like for them to be off when in park. Was hoping to find an answer to the quote above? I need to make this happen quick as the truck is in the body shop and they have the front tore apart now.

    TIA,
    Keith

Don't rush it. It's easy do swap out the headlights yourself.
