    Ive been doing a bunch of suspension/steering research in preparation for ordering parts. Moog inner and outer tie rods seem to be the go to around here as a best bang for buck non OEM replacement.

    Ordered. The stupid part about it is, I could literally drive down there, but hard to justify the ~2hr round trip with pickup/stops, even with gas prices as low as they are, when the shipping is free.

    Saw 3 step sides in the same color within a 10 minute timeframe. That's not very common.

    What part is 50mm?
    50mm = 1.969 inches.
    2 inch diameter shocks are pretty standard.
    2.5 inch diameter are standard for the big name coilover brands.

    I can't imagine paying that much for midtravel coilovers even with resi's. Not even from the big 4.

    I do feel like there is way too much shock talk for some trucks that don't really even benefit from all the tech. A go fast pre runner, drift car, road race, or drag car sure. But for the once a month wheeling crowd that mostly pulls grocery duty? Nah, save your money.

    Saw this truck on FBM. That's some, uh, special, very special interior sprucing.

    DAFUK? I just typed out this reply to a thread about UCA's that I guess got deleted? Posting here just for funsies

    I have pretty much talked myself out of them for the time being. Im only looking to go up 1-1.5 in the front with an OME 2884 or 2885 and while the extra adjustment would be nice, it's just plain unnecessary. Long term I'm going to fab my own uppers and lowers for a fun project.

    Might've gotten deleted or moved. "Feeler" threads outside of marketplace are verboten. Not sure if @AWilliams was aware of that (that's who posted those, right?)

    Same here. I was curious if he even properly maintained his. I guess if you were in the market, you'd be looking at a rebuild kit anyway.

    You would have to be a glutton for punishment to run uniballs on the street/ in dusty ass west Texas. Im guessing you would have to replace them yearly around here.
