I owned and lifted a 2nd Gen Tacoma and have a friend with a 2nd Gen Tundra that wants me to help him lift it. I am starting to do my homework to figure out what is best for him, and based on my Tacoma knowledge of lifts, I kinda know what to look for, but it is a different truck, so I had a few questions.

He wants between 2 and 3 inches of lift.
    • Prefer not to change UCAs, would go with a lower lift to avoid new UCAs.
    • Plan to buy new struts and potentially new coils, plus AAL.
    • Doesn't have to be level, ass a little high would be ok.
    • What is the max height before UCAs are needed to correct alignment, and what is a recommended lift height to get an OK alignment with stock UCAs?
    • What is the most popular lift that meets these requirements? I had 5100s on my Tacoma, and have read great things about OME.
    Thanks

Ucas is subjective. Until u put the lift on and have it aligned, no way to tell if it'll be to your standards or not. I agree ome is probably your best bet. Will get u around 2.5 up front and put the Dakar in the back, far better Than an aal.

In my experience, I had a lift (3/2) with 305/75/18 Toyos, and where I would turn off a certain off-ramp and it would cause the Abs and trac lights to come on...why? Tire was rubbing (with aftermarket wheels) with stock UCA's.
