Oh Oh Oh O' rielly's

So as i was walking around orielly's paint isle (thinking of doing the DIY tinted tail light mod) i came across dupli colors magnetic gray (1G3) paint in a spray can and i got reeeeeal curious on what if i were to just diy my bumper end caps! Dont know if i wanna test it nor pull the trigger on it just yet though.

 

Why did I read that title like the song? We've all been programmed.
I'd by some small cheap and chrome and do a test first. Sand a little and use an etching primer me thinks.

Plastidip ther a gunmetal gray color test it see if ya like before real paint

 

Post up the project. In sure others would try it. You can always bed liner over it if you don't like it. Or Roman for color match caps if all else fails.

 

Ive seen it its alriiiight to me id rather do black first imo

 

Or go to scrap yard find Tundy bumper to test real paint before u do on yours

Painted hood buldge and surround as well they wer chrome as well as bumper ends

 

You plastidipped them black? Or gray?

Did you take the caps off to paint them?

 

@Kdgcng You can do the black first and if you like leave as is. But if you dont like you can use the black as the base color and do the magnetic gray as the primer color.

 

Yup...front n rear...took plastic tops off rears...took off fogs fronts...small PITA just take your time... 2 day project..cause i wanted could paint dry time..light sand on chrome so that black primer could adhere well 3 coats paint
