It's just fun to mess with them because some Texans are unusually proud. When my brother was stationed at Ft Hood he told me he would run into people who legitimately believed Texas was the biggest state.

Also, with Texas joining the SEC next year I'm prepared to fight over who the real UT is. There can only be 1.

 

Have the same issue with the U of A. Most think University of Arizona for some reason. Of course they also think AR is the abbreviation for Arizona. About as ridiculous as thinking MN is short for Montana GTFO

 

Daaaaaaaamn. Alaska be like 1/5th the size of the whole rest of the country. Take that Texas.

 

As long as you're out of the big cities, texas is beautiful.

Yessir, if i knew then what i know now, i'd have moved a bit further west. Thought i was safe from city folk, but they're getting closer & traffic is getting worse.

 

I loved watching Bill Dance when I was younger. And Jimmy Houston. And Roland Martin. Jimmy the most though, he reminded me of one of my uncles, a lot. Such a happy dude.

coming off the high plaines into the rolling plains was gorgeous. Had to stop & collect some rocks for grandma.

 

I haven’t heard that one, but I’m not surprised. My old boss was an English transplant. It’s always fun when we poked at each other’s accents.

 

Coming from a simple are like this, just seeing trees is awesome for me. The same as how some people would come here and freak out seeing cows on the side of the highway (I'm on the access road of I-27 in that pic).
