Wife and I just stood outside staring at the sky. We were able to see the International Space Station come from the NW and travel to the SE. The Space Station looks to be larger than the last time we saw it, or more was lit.

New in original boxes never opened
available but only the pictures from Talon since I never opened the boxes.... site rules won't let me post to the market place... without pictures... any thoughts without opening the boxes

 

1) why do you not need them now?
2) have you reached out Talon? Dude seems really understanding and if they've never been opened, he might work a deal with you.
3) hit up the mods. They understanding when you reach out to them
4) whats the harm in opening the boxes? These are parts that are going to get scratched and dinged up. Its not like opening the box will change its value.

 

You should open the boxes and post pictures... lol

Otherwise sell them on Craigslist or Facebook.

 

I think the admins should look at this rule and give it serious thought.

If a member has merchandise for sale in the box never opened and they post pictures of the boxes, labels, etc. why would that not be acceptable? I understand your position about possible damage of the items in the boxes so thinking out loud here but perhaps in lieu of making pictures required when they are in the boxes make them post some sort of statement could be something they can copy and paste to alert people that the seller can not confirm the contents unless they buyer wants to waive that as a reason for return. Then you admins are out of it.

I started thinking about that earlier when I seen him post it. Obviously not what you should do but just an idea to possibly review it again, maybe setup a poll

 

I get that, but it all comes down to who can you trust and who is really being honest. The point of the pictures is so the buyer and seller can both be on the same page about the condition of an item and what is being sold. Since most things are being sold by individuals and not an entity, we have no insurance if the sale doesn't go right. Say there is hardware missing from these unopened boxes, the new buyer really has no ground with Talon to get restitution. If the world was good and people weren't shit, I'm right there with you that we should be able to resell a sealed item and all would be good. Personally, I won't buy something without seeing exactly what it is and I often ask more questions so there is no doubt left about the purchase.

Just my 2 cents on the matter.

I am the same way but if they post up no pictures and everyone asks and nobody buys then obviously they will end up taking them out. I am there with you though, unfortunately I have been caught up with these shit folk you speak of and it pisses you off for sure.
