Check out Expedition One. Their front bumper has the same concept as CBI. They wait to get one maybe a lot shorter also.

https://www.exp-one.com/products/tundra-2022/ link for the stragglers. Got a lot of time just hanging out at work.

I would've consider it 2 days ago however... just knowing it's there is a huge eyesore for me. Popped the dent out, the trim pieces don't align, and deep scratch in the headlight :anonymous:

Love the rear bumper. I might have to explore that here before the end of the year if they release it on their website. Lil Bs doesn't it have listed yet.

Right now, the only rear bumper options that I know of on the market are Fab4 (oof) and C4.

When I ordered my full bumper from CBI, they said they were working on a rear bumper but it was going to be a bit longer. Maybe by the end of year.

Brian said they'll offer the bumper towards the end of the year. They're focused on fulfilling current orders now.

Look at Expedition One. Not sure if they have pre-orders on their website yet, but they have their front bumper posted on IG and rear bumper being developed. James (the owner) is developing a new bed rack for me that would allow me to use a BAK Revolver 4Xs tonneau cover. Not sure if he's going to offer it to the public though.

I don’t know about other bumpers, but the C4 bumpers retain all the sensors.

As @ByeF150HelloTundra pointed out, most of the bigger aftermarket bumper manufacturers (CBI, C4, etc) retain the sensors. My CBI bumper retains all the OE sensors up front.

Still waiting on more options to come out for the rear. It's only a matter of time before I rip off the plastic bumper caps. haha

I'm in the market and looking at CBI. The stock bumper didnt handle hitting a deer on the highway very well. Fortunately the brakes did an amazing job and got the speed way down before impact. Deer walked off without serious injury but it shattered the bumper, grill, and bent a few fins on one of the intercoolers. Definitely looking forward to more front protection.

The hardest part was maneuvering it in place by myself. Little access to where it bolts to the frame so you are stuck doing 15 degree turns of the wrench. The cutting is straight forward.
I’d like to do a rear but I’ve got no plans for it yet.

Initially made a thread to compare the new front bumpers but I found this one after digging deep. Should have searched harder first. I’ve been doing some research on front bumper options after breaking mine on some bushes and came up with the options below. Rather than spend any money to fix plastic I decided to bite the bullet and go steel. Right now, I'm leaning toward the CBI Adventure bumper because it looks a lot easier to install with the two-piece design. The Expedition One Bumper is pretty cool, but way beyond my budget. The C4 is in close competition with the CBI. I will be going with a full bull bar for all of these.

For those that have CBI, C4, or others. What have your experiences been like. Are all the sensors still stuck in place and working? How is the coverage? Overtime durability?

I’m glad to hear the C4 didn’t have any issues. I appreciate the offer but my plastic isn’t exactly all intact. It has a few cracks, dents, and broken pieces. Not trying to pry but why did you sell the truck? Was it a reliability/powertrain issue? Or just moving on.
