Hoping someone can save me some time and confirm b4 popping panels and checking for a light.

The Truck was bought used and the mirror adjust doesn't light up at night. Should it?

Several models of that light switch and one for sure doesn't have a light

Someone else can chime in and correct me, but I feel like only the trucks with the folding mirrors have lights. Once again, I could be wrong but that was what I remembered last.

I appreciate it. My truck does have folding mirrors so hopefully someone can confirm. I have limited time with kids and life so was hoping to do some recon through others b4 trying to fix. I might just need to do it

    Unless something changed from 14 - 16 mine doesn't light up on a 1794...equal to a Platinum I believe:

Not the best pic at 1:30p but the headlights are turned to ON:

I have had a 2010, 2013, and 2020, and none have ever had backlighting for the mirror switch.

That seems to be pretty much it. Odd that is isn't, but that's life. I appreciate all!

I have a 21 Platinum and can confirm it does not light up.

Not sure if this is on older models, but something I wasn't aware of at first was.....The mirrors will auto tilt to a different setting when putting the truck into reverse, if you leave the mirror adjustment on Left or Right side of the switch.

However, if you leave it in the middle of the switch (not left side or right side adjust) the mirrors don't change position when reversing.

My wife's GX460 does this, but I haven't seen the setting for the truck (2016 platinum with folding mirrors). I'll have to take a look again
