Thanks a lot @bobbilly . Looks like the Dealer has not been transparent. They still say that the vehicle is at the rail yard due to port congestion.

 

Hopefully that isn't the case. I do show it's on hold but with the status still showing as "A", seems a little odd.

 

Thanks. I contacted the dealer and they said that it's probably getting any recalls etc fixed at the port before heading to the dealership.

hopefully i wont have to bug you again until the 6th gen 4runner comes out. after the new tacoma pricing came out, it might be a hard pass on the limited tacoma sitting at 52k msrp base, barely 10k less than our tundra out the door loaded.

 

must be crazy delays . mine was on the train november 9th now my dealer says it wont be there until december 27 to jan 11. originally was supposed to get it between nov 16 to december 1st.

Bobby you said my truck was shipped on the 9th now they are saying up to 2 months before it comes to the dealer...does Qc take that long? Or is there other reasons?

 

I wish I could give you more details. QC is tricky to navigate. Typically dealers aren't told much as far as when it will be done. Depending on what needs to be done it will be 1 or 2 Field techs performing the work/inspection, which in turn could make the resolution time lengthy and unknown.

 

Ok thank you. Maybe they are taking care of all the recalls and stuff. I just figured they would of did all that before it left the plant.
