This diff drop was installed by the original owner, and with the black RCI spacers the skid plate is pressing on the mounts. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Maybe longer grade 10.9 bolts and finding thicker spacers (RCI provided 30mm long bolts, so thinking 40-45mm)?

Throw a washer or two onto the bolt for the skid plate spacer? I literally just installed an RCI skid plate onto my 2019 Tundra today with a 3.5" lift with these spacers. Mine is extremely close but not touching.

I literally ran into this same issue today. Several people on Facebook Tundra pages recommended just adding washers. But I’m really wanting to know why it’s happening. If a buddy made it for me for free or I got it at a yard sale, I’d be fine adding washers. But being brand new straight from RCI I’d think that it would work the way it’s designed. I have a diff drop so I used the spacers and still hits, just like your picture.
Did you end up using spacers?

RCI told me to use washers if I wanted. They also said it pressing against the diff drop wasn't an issue.

Out of curiosity, how long are the spacers on the diff drop?

Was told similar, said to get new spacers and longer bolts. Don't really have any other choice so I guess that’s what I’ll have to do. Appreciate your response.

That spacer (black one in pic) they provide is too small anyways. Not just talking about the height of it to clear the diff drop, but also the diameter. It needs to be atleast the width of the tube of the skid plate below it.

If you offroad and drop your truck on that skid plate, that tiny spacer doesn’t spread the load enough and will press into the truck frame and create a giant dimple. I suggest putting on a giant washer between the spacer and the truck or get a larger diameter spacer altogether. It won’t happen on the first few times, but if you wheel hard enough, l guarantee it’ll eventually happen. That will mess up the threaded hole in the frame and you’ll be lucky to be able to remove the skid plate let alone get it back on.
