Range when towing

    It still works great after the change to the valve pictured above in post 117. I found the tank can actually hold 12 gallons with around 1.5 - 2 inches below the top of tank, so when on longer trips towing I put the extra 2 gallons of fuel in there.

    There is some fuel odor as it is vented to atmosphere like a lawnmower. I've considered running a vent line down to the trucks vent line near the filler cap, and making the aux tank's cap non-vented, but haven't got around to doing that, and am likely changing vehicles in the next few months, so it's no longer a priority. I kept the original filler neck before doing this mod, so I can easily put it back to stock when I sell the truck.

    I get between 280 - 330 miles per tank when towing, and over 500 when not towing. I have been very happy with it.
