You’re buying Chinese designed/manufactured hardware you know. How do you know they aren’t spying on you? :spy:

Fair, but who/what hardware isn't spying on us? Can't even talk in the house without personalized ads popping up on your phone, hah. VPN baby. Plus I hooked up a pi-hole to my network.

The trick is to get the battery below 80% while you're still under a service plan, then they have to replace it free!

You’re not wrong and I mean no offense, only painting a picture from outside looking in. Just know, I dyed my shoulder-length hair pink (fuchsia) for graduation day of high school and rocked it that way for quite a while. Not all people with pink hair are SJW’s. Blanket statements cut far and wide across multiple genres of people, and my reply was also demonstrating that. You can be framed in any light, the same way any corporation can be framed in any light. Sometimes you need to look past the BS and realize the CEO and/or the brand (for example) is not the brand or the brand’s culture. You also need to realize, it’s borderline petty to judge a brand for protecting itself from backlash. This is purely a business decision in some cases, and with my better 3/4 being extremely deep in the advertising world the last 30yrs I could rattle off a litany of those decisions, ones you never heard about, because they never saw the light of day. All would change your mind on said brands, any are household and/or international names.

Sometimes those decisions are lose-lose. You either lose small, alienating a small subset of your base. Other times quite large losses, if you choose to stand by some specific code or morals, which is something many brands/businesses absolutely CANNOT afford to do.

I’m all for voting with your dollar. You do you, that’s capitalism at its finest. Yet I also find it funny so many people pick and choose when capitalism is OK and when it sucks balls. You either love it or hate it, make up your mind… but seriously, I find it silly to walk away from a good quality product just because they made a business decision to end a sponsorship relationship. This happens all the time, like, ALL THE TIME, but in this case, someone politicized it and people are eating it up, bandwagoning, parroting, sheeple’ing. I find it hilarious. Same thing happened to Bud recently. It all looks so petty to me. And comparing it as suggested is honestly apples to orange but I think you know that. Severing a business relationship is far different from targeting someone based on their unchangeable traits (race).

And this is why I like you. :) We can actually have conversations. However, my shift is winding down and I am afraid I'd delve into the realms of bannable speech if I were to reply to some of this. Suffice it to say that we agree on much, disagree on other stuff, but are both willing to live and let live.

After 10 years the phone company said they wouldn't be supporting my 3G phone anymore & offered to buy me a new 5G phone. Okay.

When I got a replacement bed I laid 2 lumber across the bed walls, put the 'new' bed upside down on the lumber & strapped this & that ways from tie down to tie down to tie down. Basically made it a camper cap. Held fine for the 5 hour trip home.
The yellow strap was just decoration, didn't want to deal with passers-by flipping out over the magic gravity.

That bed looks a lot smaller and lighter. Is the seller gonna help us load it? I don't like your plan of leaving at 0600 though. I'm going to be jet lagged. Just landed in ATL(hello @shifty`)

I pre-agreed the seller was going to have friends on hand to help load it. We were 5 people which was excess. 4 is probably good for a Tundra bed if you're familiar with fit.

I was planning to leave at 5AM. 4 hour drive, figure a little extra for traffic/gas stop. Window is 10AM - 12PM..... on Saturday.... it's Thursday night.

You can sleep in the back :D

I'll keep the trailer w/ ramp plan since @NUDRAT doesn't want to wake up early and meet us either.

Put a leveling kit on that bad boy, and I might be able to sneak 30s on it (instead of the factory 29.6s)

It's AWD drivetrain would be run circles around you in inclement weather and muddy conditions :mudding:
