My TRD Pro Grille came in today and I'm very happy. I placed my order on 7/26 with Toyota of Cool Springs and after all of the worries of back orders I was surprised when I saw the e mail saying it was shipped. Thanks Roman.

I'm more of a tear stuff up type of guy and mechanical stuff doesn't come naturally to me but I watched a couple of videos and felt confident going into it. For me this was the better video :
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9qCc4rLLh0
I simply followed instructions and the grille came off and the new one went right on with no problems.

I loved the truck when I bought it and was happy with the looks of it until i saw the Pro Grille here in the forums and found out it was an option. I like chrome on a motorcycle but I'm not a big fan of it on a truck and the stock grille has a LOT of chrome.
Overall I'm very happy with the looks and the new relationship I have with Toyota of Cool Springs.

A lot of people don't realize how much your speed increases on a motorcycle from proper chrome placement

30 minutes but it could have gone as quick as 10 - 15 minutes if you knew what you were doing.

It's important to remember that automobile chrome and motorcycle chrome are totally different and have evolved quite differently. The chrome used on cars and trucks up until around 1968 added substantially to horse power. Beginning in the early 70s this began to fade until around the turn of the century the chrome used on trucks and cars began to actually slow them down. Keeping the chrome on your Tundras can easily reduce hp by more than 50hp.

I did the day I knew I would be buying a Tundra. Can't get here soon enough. I hate chrome. At least I don't have to plastic dip my badges

Must be nice, I've had my order in with Cool Springs since 4/10/2017. Maybe one day I'll be able to get rid of this chrome. Looks good though man, time to plastidip those bumper end caps!!

As I said I'm not a big fan of the chrome look and I looked here on the forum at different trucks that changed the end caps and those that left them with the chrome. Right now I like the little bit of chrome on the end caps, it's not enough to be distracting but enough to break up the other colors up front. Time will tell and I might end up ordering the end caps. I can be like a woman buying shoes when it comes to my truck.... LOL

That looks great! Could you post a picture with some more sunlight to it. I'm not sure if I want to go with the black TRD Pro Grille or the gray.
    Thanks!
