I'm having difficulty finding a black emblem overlay kit for my 2012 Sequoia SR5. Does anyone have a line on them? I would greatly appreciate it. I thought Toyota sold them for around $250...Thanks!

I have found grille and rear Toyota emblem overlays and SR5. Still looking for the "SEQUOIA" overlay for the tailgate.

I don't want to remove the SEQUOIA emblem if I don't have to.

I have an SR5 so it's not a solid piece. I would have to remove each letter and reapply them.

You don't remove anything. I did my son's Rav4, 2 years ago and still looks great.

That does look great. Very impressive. You're probably a lot more talented and patient than I am with masking.

The 7 individual letters intimidates me.

Very easy to do.....YOU can do it. It may take 4 to 5 coats.

    Where are you from?

With Plasti-dip, you tape off a square around the letters. You spray the letters and the square of paint around them. After applying 4 or so coats of dip, you simply peel the square away and the letters stay dipped. Even a slight crease will create a “cut line” for the dip. Really is easy. I dipped my emblems for my 2000 many years ago (like 10) and they still look pretty good. Last pic is “date-stamped” for proof of timeframe.

I'm just going to plastidip the entire name plate. Not sure what I was thinking. I have an SR5. I think I was looking at some Limited and Platinum tailgates that are different.

Watch some videos. After you have about 5 coats you can peel off the excess around the letters, a toothpick is your friend.
