It’s 43 here, I had to put on my sleepy pants tonight!

 

So, I've been driving around since early summer with a half built console in the truck and a bunch of junk piling up in it like a redneck. I've been trying to figure out a way to build the little sub and rear speakers into the back wall, while still having storage and a rear platform for the dogs and tools, etc and have it all be relatively seamless and user friendly.
I would draw it up, do calculations for the sub cab, etc, then wouldn't like how the overall design turned out. I'd give up, let it sit, work on it again, rinse and repeat.
I ended up simply moving the sub and amp to a box behind the seat, as opposed to the back wall and boom, everything fell into place and worked perfectly.
I'm surprised it took so long to figure it out, since I'm a genius and master designer, etc.
Anyway, no point in posting pics of the design now. I'll wait until it's built out enough to see what's going on.
I know everyone has been super curious and concerned about the progress on this, so an update was in order.

I get some really good looks when there's a full moon, clouds and trees framing it, but my phone takes terrible pics. It doesn't do well at night, everything looks 5x further away than it is, zooming in makes it blurry and any kind of point of light, like the moon, when it's dark out, just turns to bright fuzz.
I don't really want an expensive phone that takes pro looking pics. I've had the KYOCERA dura whatever models and like that they hold up to abuse really well. They just take shit pics.
I may consider getting a nice actual camera though. I miss out on too many opportunities for nice pics
