I purchased this 2017 sequoia last year with 62k on it. Currently has 75k.
I was underneath for an oil change and noticed a couple wet spots at the connection of the trans/transfer case. One on each side near the top and one near the bottom near where it’s mounted to the frame.
I’m wondering if this is any cause for concern as I’ve seen posts about this just being “grease” from when the trans is assembled when the car is built.
No active leaks or drips. I noticed this before taking it to my local trans shop for a drain and fill. They said not a concern. I want this truck to last me a while!
    Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    Steve

Clean it up with some brake clean and see if it comes back on your next oil change but I wouldn't be overly concerned with it.
