Mid 20's here, no weather in the forecast

 

My '22 Tundra doesn't have a remote start button on the fob but it can still be used to remote start the truck. I think it's 2 quick presses of the lock button followed by holding the lock button down. Nothing similar on the Bronco?

Not that it matters. It's a Ford and it starting by any means is a miracle.

Same here. If it’s going to be this cold it might as well snow.

2 door old school 4Runner body style is dope, but sadly…..

 

There's no snow on the ground up here. I'm kind of annoyed by that fact.

May I encourage you to move to Vancouver? It sounds like you'd do well there with your anti-snow stance.

I left the Lower Wasteland because of the brown winter bullshit. Winter means snow dammit! Plus I need it properly cold to fully freeze the lakes so we can go ice fishing. This half assed, bipolar weather ain't gonna cut it.

 

I’ll take it over the heat and humidity.

 

@Green Thunder how are the morning workouts going? I slacked this week while visiting family but resumed the pain this morning and got a good workout in.

We can trade. I don't like summer. It's too hot and miserable to do anything, the lakes and rivers are overheated so the fishing sucks, it's not hunting season...

Fall, winter, spring, summer. That order.

 

I do prefer it to snow in November, get below freezing and stay there all winter. This yo-yo weather we've had the last few years can fuck off. However, it's actually been pretty good for me this year since there's no way in hell I would have time to shovel. If the snow can hold off until about December 20th, that would be great.

Apparently there's plenty of snow south of Edmonton.

 

Yep, the yo-yo weather has screwed so much stuff up for me. I had some other yard work projects I could have banged out but with our freeze, thaw, snow, rain, fuck you @Outbound weather I couldn't ever count on having a long enough window to get them done.

All this talk of shoveling snow bothers me too.

Y'all know they invented snowblowers for a reason, right? They even make electric versions for the Tesla driving hipsters.

 

I'd only buy a snowblower if I lived on the East coast. We don't get enough here to justify it, especially with my small lot size. If I buy an acreage, I'll get a quad with a blade.

 

You're in Edmonton aren't you? Do you get significantly less snow than GP?

I have a 2, maybe 3 car if I'm generous, driveway. I picked up a Honda single stage snow blower. In all but the heaviest, wettest snow I can clear my driveway, my neighbor's driveways and the sidewalk in front of all 3 houses right down to pavement in 30 minutes. Worth every penny to me, plus The Woman can make quick work of our driveway if I'm away on shift.

My friend actually picked up a more powerful Briggs&Stratton powered dual stage machine for a few hundred less than I paid for the Honda. He's got more chooch in that thing and I'm kinda jealous.

Plus, burning dino juice in yard machines is fun and supports the motherland's core industry.

if I get a quad, it'll totally have a blade. Bylaw can piss off if they think I'm not using that to clear driveways and sidewalks.

 

Did Mon-Tue. Skipped Wed so I could leave work early. Thursday did a long walk with the dog. Now I'm on holiday...probably another few dog walks but that's it. Back to it on Monday.
