I guess I'm upgrading my grille.

Driving back from my Idaho property doing 65 mph when a pheasant hen flew in front of me.

Pretty hilarious driving down the road with feet sticking out and seeing the horrified looks on people's faces as I went by.

    Yum, grilled pheasant!

that’s a bummer. Are you thinking about an upgrade?

Yeah, I hate the chrome, so just wanted either a matte black or Magnetic Gray grill surround and hood bulge, with a matte black grille.

Can't do it for a 2021 with the TSS sensor. It's crazy how if all you want is a matte black grille and surround, it's not available if you want to keep your sensor. I found dozens of products that were close, but no cigar. So I have to piece everything together. I just ordered the upper grille hood bulge, but it is glossy black. So I will have to coat it, the surround, and the factory grille with Plasti-Dip and call it good for now.

I was doing about 55 down a back road one day when a couple of ducks decided to take flight and traverse the roadway. I smacked duck number two in the convoy and thought for sure my grill was toast. Amazingly, it wasn’t. I didn’t catch quite as many feathers as you and the duck was nowhere to be found, but I used it as an excuse to replace the grill anyways. It just took a year for COVID supply to catch up and the grill to show up. It’s still sitting in the shop waiting

Dang, that stinks. When I had my Tacoma, I hit an owl while doing about 80. Surprisingly, didn't do as much damage as I was expecting. I replaced the grille with a color matched unit.
