Hope you all enjoyed the holiday, and hopefully have today off as well!

 

I woke up at 5 because it's a weekday and my stupid alarm went off. I got up to let the dogs out and other morning nonsense and the wife was already up and took care of o the dogs. I guess black Friday shopping bullshit, or whatever those weirdos do.
So I said fuk it and went back to bed.
Slept till 7:30. Then had to take a dump and thought of you guys.

Snowing in SLC as well. Just enough to slush the roads right now, but it's adding up and supposed to keep snowing.

 

I'd like some snow here, we haven't had any weather here since before we left for Hawaii

 

I need to get back down there and see some old friends, it's been way too long

 

World class dining here as well. Skipping that for turkey day leftovers, though.

Just curious, what makes SLC a world class dining destination? They have killer quesadillas or something?

Very diverse food choices and high quality options for them are available. Seafood as well, even so far from the ocean. Best lobster I've ever had because it was Australian flown in daily or weekly (can't remember) and it makes Maine lobster taste like gritty bottomfeeders. Yes, I know seabugs are bottomfeeders, but the Aussie ones taste fresh and clean.

 

Yeah where I live I usually don’t go for seafood either. Supposedly this local Mexican restaurant; the family has been fisherman for generations so supposedly they have good related fare, my buddy always orders seafood of some kind, but I don’t mess with it.

 

Varies for me. Best Mexican food I've ever had is The Red Iguana here in SLC. Only Mexican food I've seen with a line out the door and big wait times. Worth it.

Good sushi options too.
