Can I see pictures of a 3" lifted Crewmax with 17x8.5 Method Wheels on 35x12.5O tires

I'm trying to decide if I were to go with Method wheels that are 17x8.5 with a +35 offset and 6.20 backspace on some BF Goodrich AT KO2s 35x1250 or BF Goodrich AT KO2s 315x70R 17 tires if I would have any problems with a 3" suspension lift. I want to make sure that they don't poke out and that they don't hit the aftermarket UCA. I don't want to use spacers, that would make them stick out. Think that a 33" tires would make it look un proportional, 34" would be great but not a lot of options out there. Any advice or pictures would greatly help me make up my mind.

 

Here you go. Method 703 with 35 offset and MT 35’s on accutune fox 2.5 resis. Tires clear the camburg uca but rub the resis at full lock a tad. BMC done.

 

Man, I've been trying to determine if the Method Bronze worked with the Blazing Blue. This just clinched it, it looks soo good!

Did it rub the sway bar at all? What is rub the “resis” at full lock?

 

His fox shocks have reservoirs. Sounds like they are rubbing some up front.

 

as another posted rubs the coil over reservoir a tad when fully turned, weird only happens on one side though. Can see where the sticker has peeled up in the pic. Thought about moving the resis around a bit to help but I just advoid turning until steering wheel locks for time being. Only be at full steering lock at slow speed so not too worried. I keep and eye on it to see how much it’s wearing plus I can feel it in the cab when it hits. Might have to fab a mount or modify these somewhat to make it not rub. Oddly enough I found a post on here about it happening to another guy running same shock/tire size setup a while back. No rub on the sway bar.

 

Did you notice much acceleration loss? My truck is OTT tuned. Also how much did your MPG’s drop? Thanks

 

heck yeah she’s a dog now haha MPG don’t pay attention to. Always stay in 5th never Drive even on the highway. I’ve regeared and forced induction a few cars and trucks so I know what I’m getting into. A regear to 5.29 is a must for me. Here’s a pic of my other money pit, built it up but haven’t done much for the last year to it. Attention has been going towards the tundra. More bigger and comfortable for camping trips with fam of four. It’s the wife’s daily so she won’t let me sell.

 

Thank you for all your input Moodywizard. Think I’ll stick with the wheels and go down a tire size to not lose so much acceleration or MPGs. An other suggestions I should go with? You have an awesome truck and Happy Thanksgiving!

I’ll echo your thoughts on re-gearing after going with bigger tires. Game changer…

 

All this is making me rethink about going with 285/76R 17 tires instead. Don’t want it re gear and worry about losing acceleration and MPGs.

 

17” wheels, and find light weight ones. When selecting a tire, find the size you can accept that is available in a lighter weight SL, XL, or Load Range C rating.

Tire diameter certainly plays into gearing effectiveness, but the weight will also make a huge difference. Save where you can in these aspects if you’re not wanting to regear or lose much performance.
