Thinking about getting some 17x8.5 0 offset race relations. Westcott says they recommend their relocation kit to fit them. I’ve seen videos where people take off a safety bracket to pin back the rear fender liner, but see a lot of guys running 0 offsets. Is this safe? Any personal experience? Hoping to run 35x12.5r17

edit. Ordered the 18” with the +12 offset only to switch to the 17 +0. The weight difference was so much higher I decided to go 17.

    appreciate all the comments

Your wheels are gonna stick out 3” on each side. If you have a single door garage it’s gonna be a bitcha getting in.

I run 0 offset 18s on 35s. I unscrewed a couple brackets and pinned back the felt. I didn't cut off the safety thingy that sticks out so the tire on the passenger side rubs a little when I cut the wheel in reverse. I'm happy with it.

    Lots of stuff!
The wheels and tires will stick out so a suggestion would be to get some flares to protect the sides of your truck and keep the mirrors from getting smashed by flying debris.

I have a slightly smaller size tire and a lesser offset (+15) and I have some rubbing. I took off my mud flaps too. My favorite wheels are "0" offset and but I didn't want to deal with major mods to the truck.

This is very true... The sides of my truck gets really dirty especially when it rains! Also picked up some tar from roads work that I need to clean off at some point.

    because black friday

as much as i would really like a set of RR7-H personally. i can't do a 0 offset. don't like the poke and everything that comes with it. now if they had a +25 i'd be all over it

I like what I like is basically the why. I don't mind a dirty truck, I like the poke.

Hell yeah! If everyone liked the same thing, there wouldn't be threads with thousands of responses of people customizing their trucks. I, for example, am planning on getting 22x10 -18mm on a 35x12.5 in February. I like what I like!

<20 lbs forged wheels for 350 bucks a piece is a great deal. Pretty practical if you don’t want to spend 800 a piece on Rays to not be 90+ lbs a corner.
