    Food. Just say 50 years, 12 months a year = 600 months. 600×300=$180,000. No brainer which one is more valuable.

    Hmm...I spend about $60/wk on fuel (mid grade from Shell)
    60x4= 240
    We spend $170-200 a week or so on groceries.

    Being 54, 50 years of the food is not as valuable to me. For some reason or other lol.

    The travel and I would use the shat out of it constantly. Only 2 hours to Cozumel.

    I'm 59 and would still opt for food. Traveled enough overseas. Rather drive. Rather have my truck than the Mercedes. Need gas. Need food more. $300 food bill offset for life leaves plenty$ for gas.

    After further thinking, I'd go for the food as well. The free gas is pretty close tho

    First choice with logical thinking is food. Im going to calculate it out like others have done.

    Travel: I get 3 weeks vacation so that is maybe 3-6 flights that i would be able to use without taking days off without pay. Flights are 300-1200 dollars in the US, 1200-4000 international or so. Best case all international at worst case prices = $24,000
    Gas: ~$70 every week and a half right now. Could do more on the weekends if its free. Lets push it to $90 every week. $90/week x 52 weeks/yr x 20 years = $93,600 Now if this is family then i can double it for my wifes jeep and add ~ $50/week for my son for 7 years: $93,600 x 2 + 50 x 52 x 7 = $111,800 worst case
    Food: $300 x 12 = 3600 per year. Lets assume that the family can eat $300 a month till im 83. $3600/year x 50 years = $180,000
    Mercedes: $80,000. If i kept it i would have added insurance so its worth less that 80k. If i sold it right away ~$75k??

    Food stands out as the best option for me.
