I took possession of my father in-laws 2016 OR a couple of months ago and I think I'm just about done adding accessories and catching up on the maintenance. The truck only has 20,000 miles on it. Here are some pictures of what I've done.

    Katzkins leather seats

Also tinted windows, tail gate lock and ceramic coat.

I also added LED bulbs throughout, fog light all the time mod, trans service , coolant change and spray in bed liner.

Nice. How easy was the auto headlight mod. It would be a nice addition for my 17 SR5

Not bad. There is a thread on it. Basically you find the body control module which is located under the panel to the left of the steering column. On one of the connectors there is a wire from the fog light relay that is controlled by the BCM. You disconnect that wire and wire it to the wire that goes to you fog light switch which is located in a connector behind the driver side kick panel. The instructions say to use female and male connectors but it's just easier to solder them. I think the connectors are used in case you want to reverse it.

I thought he asked about the auto headlights? Those tie into fog lights?

No worries. I'm tired and going to bed, so I wasn't sure if I wasn't understanding how the auto lights got hooked up or something.

Hope that sweet truck serves you well for decades to come.

Sorry, the auto headlights is also easy to do but does require you remove your air bag, steering wheel and spiral cable (clock spring). You need to buy a new auto headlight switch and install it. Then add the light sensor which is installed next to the speaker in the center of the dash. There is a blank installed which you remove and then install the light sensor. I found a light sensor on AlliExpress.com for about $15. After the new light switch is installed and light sensor the auto feature will work.

Haha. No worries, turning the little switch on the end of the stalk seems much easier.

My Camry that my wife drive my and my previous vehicle have auto headlights. If my wife drives the truck, she is use to having the headlights come on and just doesn't realize they are not on when driving in town because of the street lights.

You definitely didn’t waste any time! 20k miles is nothing. My dad gave his 2011 to my brother in law with about 195k. He still has it.

Where did you purchase the steering wheel? Or is that just a well done wrap?

It's a wrap I bought off AliExpress but it's also available on Amazon and Ebay.
