Secret Santa 2023: Wish List Thread Get 'em Done!!!

It's a lot easier to get around down here because everything isn't covered in ice...

 

How do your sled dogs pull the sleds without ice?

 

Apologies for this being late with this, folks.

• We cook a ton and new kitchen things are always fun. We’re pretty well equipped, but always welcome a new spatula or other stuff. Classy barware is neat too.
• We drink more coffee than beer these days, but red wine and bourbons are still on the menu.
• XL shirts, S/M flexfit (not a fan of snapbacks).
• The truck is pretty sorted, but have been eyeing one of those rago or bulletproof dash plates if Santa is feeling overly generous. One of those may encourage me to finally do that speaker swap.
• I’m hopeful to do a katzskin swap in the next year and I’ve heard that a garment steamer, which I don’t have, makes the process much easier.
• Sports: SC Gamecocks, Braves
• If life is too hectic to deal with any of that stuff, gift cards or donations to a local (to you) animal rescue works as well.

Really, I’ll be grateful for anything that arrives.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to make this go every year. It’s a really neat thing that’s great to be a part of.

Okay, let’s see… I’ve been celebrating a bit today so I better proofread tomorrow lol:

I live in Texas and love bourbon and golf. I wear a Large shirt, and have a 5 month old new baby. I do all my own housework/projects, so any new tool is pure Christmas to me. I love learning how to do something new, be it around the house, the truck, a fun new skill, or some knowledge most others don’t possess ( love trivia nights).

One of my absolute favorite things to do are escape rooms. I make my wife and friends come with all the time, and I think some of them have come around to liking them.

I’m about to throw a Toytec 2.5 lift and trd pro 295s on my truck I think the next thing I would want to do is add some trd sway bars or katskins.

Outside of that, me and the family love camping, shooting guns (we’re slowing getting into it, but loving it), water sports on the lake, skiiing, hunting, and roadtripping.

All in all, I’m easy as hell and appreciate of anything coming our way.

 

Just thought I would give an update to everyone. We leave in a few hours to adopt this sweet pup. Early Christmas present to the family and will make for a fun holiday season of potty training, crate training and obedience school!!!!

Oh yeah, forgot all about posting in here about this, my bad!

I have a pretty wild variety of interests, did the sports and outdoors thing growing up but then went into computers and engineering, then back again after a decade of that for medical and research science so I'm all over the damn place, and find pretty much everything interesting. Renovated a few houses in my day and have some projects yet to do around my current one. I'm a sport-touring motorcyclist at heart, but am getting my fiance into camping, and shooting, getting her used to her 9mm EDC at the range. Not much of a beer guy but different whiskeys are always of interest. I live in MN and love to travel and find local stuff, so it would pretty cool to get something local to wherever my Santa's from, if that's an option? Size-wise I'm a comfortable Large or slim-fit XL for things that way.

Really, I'm not picky, if you think it's cool, I will think so too!

Our Secret Santas have been quite busy this past week, so we've had a little down time up here at the North Pole....

We wanted to check in w/you and see how the new pup's doin' after the first week??

 

She is an absolutely adorable pup - settling in VERY well. Doing great with potty training. Today will be the first real test of crate training. Baxter is being a very patient and playful big brother. The kids are in love (and so are Jen and I). We couldn’t be happier with her honestly.
