    2021 SR5 CrewMax:

My tundra came with what looks like spray liner already in the truck when I bought it new in 2021, I’m now adding a few accessories but all of the molle products for the front side (not the two sides) say they can just bolt in to the accessory rail or to remove the rail and slide it it. And if you don’t have the rail you can just bolt straight in using spacers they provide.

Here’s my question, I looked with a fine tooth comb and there is no accessory rail nor any holes where one would go. I pushed around with my fingers to see if they were filled in or something before the bed liner went it and nothing. Does every tundra from that gen have these holes? Is this some drop in liner on the front side? I added a pic of this accessory rail so you can see. Every product I’ve found mentions the holes and or rail.

New to accessorizing so I appreciate any help with my question.

You should have the holes. Sounds like they were covered up during the spray in bed liner application.

The holes were probably filled with bedliner when it was sprayed on. Mine filled when it was applied.

If holes were filled in, again new to this so be gentle, am I SOL or can I drill through where they were? If so, are there measurements somewhere that would tell me where the holes would be? Any suggestions out there?

Those are threaded holes for the factory rail system. They can be cleaned out with a tap and electric drill.

I don't think you're SOL. If you know the location of the first threaded hole from the back and the distance between them you probably can find them with a sharp pick to find the soft spots then run a tap to clean up the holes. Let me know and I can help you out on the measurements. I have the double cab with the 6' box.

Do not drill them, find them with a pick of some sorts, once found you can use the bolt/piece that goes in there and thread it in to clean out. The other way,,, you can find the holes clean them out the best you can then tap them out to clean.
I am sure someone will pop up with the size so that the hex head bolt and tap could be purchased at your local hardware store. Easy peasy!:)

I would appreciate any help with measurements, if someone chimes in with bolt sizes and such I might be able to figure it out. If it helps at all for measurements, the one thing that didint fill in is that center hole (not a bolt hole but some other hole on along that factory rail line) so if I can figure out how far to start prodding left/right of that center it would be great.

The larger hole is were a plastic Christmas tree is used to hold the rail in place while installing the bolts. Maybe @Black@Blue19 could help you with the measurements because he has a crew max. Mines he double cab so the measurements will be different but the front would be the same. I could give you the bolt size tomorrow.

No need to measure. Put you hand down between the box and cab and you can feel/see the nut heads. The bolts are 8mm x 1.25.

^ If that didn't help, the front rail is the top rail in the pic.

There are 4 bolts, 2 on each side.
Each side the bolt is around 11.5 apart.
The 2 in the middle are around 23" apart.
